This homestay is amazing! The room had everything we needed and an incredible view as well. We sat on the balcony and watched the river go by. There is also a place very near where you can bathe in the Ganga. It was a deeply relaxing experience. But what makes this home stay shine is Shiv and his family. We immediately felt at home. Shiv’s wife and daughter are wonderful cooks. We loved every meal. Shiv’s son took us around Uttarkashi Introducing us to the many beautiful temples within the town. It was magical. Shiv helped us organize taxi’s and anything else we needed. Truly a gem!!!

This place is amazing. 10 nights flew by here. Raithal is amazing and this is the best location, as it borders the national forest - so no one is above you. We also stayed another place above Raithal and it lacked the charm and isolation. Also, Naveen is amazing - professional, kind, a good cook, and cares about his guests having a peaceful experience. Also, Raithal is a great place to visit because the unique village, culture and views - the views are great because you're high up on an open terrace. There are plenty of day hikes, they keep you well fed, and we got good enough internet from Airtel that we could work in the evenings. Highly recommend a longer stay here, and I would much prefer staying here over Harsil due to the views and feeling of isolation.

My wife and I stayed for a night prior to our Har Ki Dun trek. It's a perfect homestay with a traditional family in the heart of Soud village. The room is adjacent to the rooms of other family members and is minimalistic. The view from the common balcony is soothing. The food which was garden fresh and simple was served with lots of love. A big thanks to Devender for all the help, information and assistance. He organized small treks (on payment) and we were escorted by chirpy little teenagers from their family who made it worthwhile. Clarify on the costs of food/trek beforehand in order to avoid surprises. The toilets are not attached with the rooms and theres a fly menace if you eat in the common balcony. All in all an simple yet exotic experience with a beautiful traditional joint family.

Great location! Set in a very picturesque location in and around apple orchards. The hosts are always there to help and find a solution. Thanks to Sandeep and Devender for their great hospitality! The camps are set in a quite and peaceful region where tourism has not been commercialized much hence you would see the roads are not in their perfect condition. Traveling by a car with a good ground clearance is recommended, although I was able to complete my trip in a hatchback with minor damages. PS: their food is amazing! Had a great time during breakfast and dinner buffets and they can also light a bonfire on request.

A small yet fantastic stay in Agora, Dodital. Preveen's Homestay is an awesome cosy little home away from home in the quiant little village of Agora, Dodital. I liked his arrangements, room and the general location of the place. The homestay has got surreal views in front of it! lush green forest, superb waterfall upfront and high mountains that will catch your eyes for sure. He also runs a Trek Operating Company and helped our group throughly in Planning and completing the dodital-darwa trek. He also took us to his 500-600 years old house where he showed us how food in those villages is prepared. The whole experience provided by him was fantastic. I can totally recommend him to friends & family. You should book your stay with him, if you are planning to visit. Thank You Preveen. Best of Luck.

A peaceful place, well behaved staff, homely atmosphere has made our stay pleasant and beautiful. Only negative point to highlight is the location as its around 200 meter away from main roaf and hard to locate through online map too. But its manageable as beautiful homely environment will definitely helps you to remove that tiny odd from your mind.

I had an amazing stay at Ranveer’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Ranveer was a fantastic host—welcoming, helpful, and attentive. A special mention to his wife, who prepared the most delicious meals for us—every dish was a treat. The views from the property were absolutely stunning, truly next level. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend this stay if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great hospitality and unforgettable scenery!
