When I found this little mobile home community on Miflin Creek, I knew I'd found something special- a peaceful place to kayak,bird watch,fish, and enjoy the beauty of the creek. Today, I'm grateful to share it with my guests. Miflin Creek flows into Wolf Bay and the Gulf, yet you're only 8 minutes from OWA, close to great restaurants, and a short drive to Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. Welcome to our country retreat 1/2 mile from I-65. Stay for a night during a road trip or a little longer and enjoy the area. Visit the Poarch Creek museum or casino at Exit 57. We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

There is a public boat launch so bring your boat/jet skis/kayaks and fishing gear and head out to the beautiful waters of Blackwater Bay.
