Nearby you will find, among other things, Kontiolahti's ski slopes and trails, biathlon stadium, Paihola's frisbee golf course, summer café (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21 km) and Koli National Park (about 54 km) services and activities!

The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. Rakennus sijaitsee samalla tontilla omakotitalon kanssa kuitenkin täysin erillään ja omalla sisäänkäynnillä. Läheltä löytyvät: sairaalan palvelut 1,4km, S-market (auki 24/7) 700m, apteekki, ravintoloita sekä hiihtoladut/lenkkipolut alkavat takapihalta. Vieraalla on käytettävissä kaksi polkupyörää. Lattialämmitys ja takka lämmittävät talvella. Ruuan valmistaminen Airfryerillä, mikrossa tai terassilla kaasugrillillä. Juomaveden saa suoraan keittiön hanasta. Vieraan käytössä on koko mökki, jossa nukkumatilat kahdelle, sauna, wc ja pieni keittiö. Ilmalämpöpumppu takaa sopivan sisälämpötilan. Keskustaan 13km. Ruokakauppoihin 8 km.
