Cozy cottage on the shore of the magnificent Tornionjoki river

Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, in the village of Kaulinranta. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Atmospheric cabin in the Arctic Circle

The house is in a particularly quiet village of Juokseng on the Swedish side of Tornionjoki. Suitable for families, fishermen, snowmobilers, berry pickers, skiers, hikers or people who just like nature. The yard is big for outdoor games and the beach is nearby. There are also skiing centers within a 12-20 km radius. The river is less than 1 km away. The village store is approx. 1 km. There is another cottage in the same yard that can also be rented.The sauna is shared by both cabins, if agreed.

Grandma vibe near Aavasaksanvaara near the Swedish border. Well equipped 50's cozy front style house. The house has a pirtti with a well-stocked kitchen, one bedroom, and a sauna department. The sauna section of the house has a chamber with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-burning sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 70s and the surfaces of the sauna and washroom have been renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 guests. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee

Well-equipped cottage by the lake

In the main house kitchen, dining area and living room. A separate toilet equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as an electric sauna and shower with a toilet. Two bedrooms (each with a double bed), a loft with a sofa bed (120x200) and, if necessary, 2 extra beds. In addition, a walkout from the main building upstairs to an additional room with two beds, lounge chairs and a small refrigerator for 2. The yard also has an outdoor sauna and a glazed grill house. A 70m2 cottage for rent in a campsite on the beautiful Tornionjoki river. In the summer, the accommodation is used as a recreation and maintenance building. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities: ski trails and official sled routes in the nearby forest, Aavasaksa and Ritavalkea ski resorts about 25 km away. Pörröporo souvenir shop/café approx. 500 m, nearest shop in Pello approx. 23 km. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay!

Our peaceful holiday home in Swedish Lapland is perfect for nature lovers, Northern Lights enthusiasts, and sled dog adventures. The house has 3 comfortable bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 guests. It’s located in a remote area of Överkalix, near a large lake. The town center and its shops are just a five-minute drive away. The house is fully equipped and includes snowshoes, sleds, games, a barbecue hut (Grillkota), and a sauna.
