Magic Island: Cottage & Beach Sauna on Your Own Island

Welcome to experience of the unique Taikasaari, located in Väärinjärvi, Ruovesi! The island's cottage and beach sauna were built in the 1950s and renovated with modern amenities. The entire 2000 m² island is for your private use, without any visual contact with other cottages or houses. The cottage has electricity, but no running water. The wood sauna has carrying water and a water pot for heating the water. The sauna terrace has direct access to the lake. The toilet is an outdoor toilet. Please note that the property is not suitable for small children.

Saunacottage on lake Parannesjärvi in Virrat, 300km north of Helsinki. 30m2 log-house, built in 2005 with 100m of own shoreline. Owners live on same 1,4ha property, 70m away. In the livingroom/kitchen of the cottage you find a double sofa-bed with extra matress for 2 persons. Separate toilet and wood-heated sauna with shower. 10m2 terrace with furniture and lake view. Fully equipped kitchen, gas-barbecue, rowing-boat, Wi-Fi. Very nice, quiet and cosy place for a couple to spend a holiday.

Pihapiiristä löytyy oma sauna ja iso palju. Mökki on aivan kylän sydämessä. Kesäisin ympärillä elää ihana kyläkulttuuri – Wonkamies ja satamakahvila ovat vieressä. Pidemmille retkille kaipaaville Himos, Isojärven kansallispuisto ja Serlachius-museot ovat vain 30–65 km päässä. Himos vain 28 minuutin ajomatkan päässä!

Free parking for a stress free prolonged stay. Great beach nearby, and multiple options for outdoor activities in every season. The apartment fits four guests, and it's up to you if you want to bring a fifth one - there is a foldable ottoman-mattress available too. Only the double bed has been prepared in advance.

Villa Mylly in Näsijärvi

At Villa Mylly you will stay in a peaceful and stylish environment. Completed in 2024, the villa is located in the Paarlahti of Näsijärvi, just a 30-minute drive from the center of Tampere. You can also get next to it by bus. The villa has all the modern day amenities such as an indoor toilet and shower. Accommodates 4 adults and 1 child. The beach sauna is available for an additional fee (25€). The lot is in use in the summer time (from 1 May to 30 September).

The lake and adjacent rapids are popular with fishermen. The Birgita Trail hiking trail and the canoeing trail around Lempäälä run alongside. Ski trails 2 km. Train station 1.2 km, from where you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 7 km.

Hi. We live in this 100 + year old log home with my daughter and have renovated the downstairs Airbnb as an apartment. The apartment is separated from the other spaces and has its own entrance, so you can go and come in peace. Of course, if you have any questions, we'll help if you have any questions.
