Our cottage is located in a unique, peaceful location by the lake. Close to the wilderness of Lapland. It’s still easily accessible by car, though. In the warmth of our cabin, it’s easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature through the large windows with their ever-changing scenery. Enjoy the silence. Admire the Northern Lights. You can go skiing and snowshoeing directly from the yard. In the summer, you can fish, row, or paddleboard on the lake or take a dip from your own dock. You also have a grill hut sauna at your disposal.

Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

This unique and peaceful holiday destination is easy to relax in. From the cabin's outdoor hot tub, you can look up at the sky and admire the northern lights! Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

This cottage might look too good to be true - but it's real! Our log cabin called Savu is located just next to the beautiful, rocky, fishy and pure lake Ukko as you can see in pictures. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.
