Waterfront holiday rentals in Kabelvåg

We stayed a week, and the location couldn’t be more picturesque. It is in an enclave of three buildings at the end of its own steep fjord, over 1 km inset from the one road connecting it to the rest of civilization. You really get a sense of the solitude that might be typical of so many homes in rural Lofoten or in Knut Hamsun literary works. Despite its isolation, the home – an ADU – had all modern conveniences working fairly well. Cell phone connection in certain weather conditions was sketchy on one or two occasions, but Internet was always strong. Kitchen appliances and climate control all worked well. Wood-burning stove heater had all the fuel you might want. Of course, visitors are very dependent on their car. The nearest shopping or tourist attractions, even gas/electric charge stations and convenience stores, are a 20-25 minute drive away. Finally, the hosts were completely accessible during our 1 week stay.

The home itself is very pretty, clean, open and light space. We really enjoyed it. The view is very serene. There is not very much nearby, nothing within walking distance, but if you're looking for being able to relax and have a good view this is an excellent choice.

Mycket trevligt boende, nära till allting. Parkering nära boendet, kostar dock lite grann. I övrigt mycket bra boende med bastu.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Gastgeberehepaar. Wir haben vier traumhafte Wochen in dieser sehr schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Der Service war perfekt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sogar mit auf Ihre Hunderunden mitgenommen. Nicht nur wir waren begeistert sondern auch unser Hund Buddy hat sich von Anfang an heimisch gefühlt und sich Tag für Tag seine Leckerchen abgeholt. Besonders wertvoll waren auch die persönlichen Ausflugstipps. Danke für einen absolut gelungenen Urlaub

If you’re looking for a place to relax with family, this is a perfect fit. The rental is spacious and well appointed. Everything you need for cooking is available as well as a grocery store just a few minutes away by car. Sven is helpful and responsive to questions. The environment is quiet, scenic, and peaceful.

Sehr angenehme und herzliche Kommunikation. Wohnung liegt am Ende einer Wohnsiedlung schön im Grünen und man kann direkt von der Wohnung zur Wanderung aufbrechen. Hatten sogar das seltene Glück, Elche zu sehen, die bis in die Siedlung gekommen sind. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Und das Wohnzimmer ist so gemütlich, dass man auch mal einen richtigen "Schietwetter"-Tag daheim verbringen kann. Für viele Ausflüge von einer Unterkunft aus, finde ich sie allerdings doch etwas zu abgelegen.

A Anne Lise é uma anfitrião maravilhosa, responsiva e disponível. Ajudou-nos com todas as informações que necessitamos. Nusfjord é um paraíso na terra. Não poderia recomendar mais a estadia em Nusfjord e no alojamento da Anne Lise. Tínhamos tudo o necessário para uma estadia confortável, sentimo-nos em casa. O facto de ter lugar de estacionamento privado à porta é incrível. A população local em Nusfjord é muito simpática e prestável. A padaria/bakeri é maravilhosa, a melhor das Lofoten. Uma delícia! Tivemos ainda a sorte de ser visitados por um simpático casal de coelhos, que saltitavam contentamente pela floresta atrás da casa. Tudo é maravilhoso ali! Recomendo totalmente. Obrigada, Anne Lise!

We had an excellent stay at Glenn’s place near Leknes in Sennesvik. This was one of the cleanest and most convenient Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The unit was thoughtfully designed—everything from the pristine kitchen to the modern bathroom and simple, tidy bedrooms made it easy to stay organized, especially while traveling with an infant. The location was perfect for accessing all our hiking destinations across the Lofoten Islands during our three-night stay. The peaceful, serene view was a bonus we truly appreciated. Glenn was responsive and clear with instructions throughout, which made check-in and communication smooth. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Een mooi, oud maar gezellig Noors huis met een goed ingerichte keuken. De badkamer is wat klein maar verder prima. Het huis ligt in een klein dorpje met een supermarkt om de hoek. Mooie en rustige ligging.

La casa de Elin era muy acogedora y estaba muy limpia, la recomiendo totalmente, Hans nos recibió con estas palabras " Bienvenidos al paraíso ", y la verdad es que fué así, un lugar muy tranquilo y acogedor, la casa tiene un muelle y disponíamos de un Kayak para utilizarlo , gracias a Hans por el pescado que nos regaló, estaba muy rico.

We absolutely loved our stay at Angelita’s Rorbu! It is spectacular. The views are breathtaking at all times of day - it’s such a peaceful and tranquil place to wind down while exploring Lofoten. The apartment is gorgeous inside and Angelita provided every possible amenity to make it feel like home. We loved cooking in the kitchen with local seafood (and Angelita’s incredible seaweed products - her shop is a must-visit)! We really appreciated the tranquil location away from the crowds but only 5 minutes or so from town for grocery shopping, etc. We loved the location of the rorbu in Lofoten. We explored towns, hiked, wandered and followed many of Angelita’s recommendations - and then loved winding down in the evenings at this magical spot! Angelita was responsive, helpful and so kind. We would love to return and stay here in the future!!

A very good place I can recommend to anyone visiting Lofoten. Perfect location close and close to many attractions!

Hilde‘s home is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. It’s elegant, cozy, warm, beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make yourself feel completely at home. There are baskets of sweaters so you can sit warmly on the balcony and watch the water and the light change. She has thought of every detail you might want to be able to relax fully and enjoy this unusual island. She even has binoculars for you to use to watch the birds and any sea animals that might come by. She was helpful, kind and timely in every interaction I had with her. I could stay here happy for a month and perhaps I will another time!

Abbiamo soggiornato da Hans per una vacanza sciistica. La casa è super accogliente, ristrutturata con cura e gusto, ben accessoriata ed è situata in una magnifica posizione sul fiordo. Hans è un ottimo host, sempre disponibile. Consigliatissimo!

Accueil chaleureux avec de gentilles attentions. Le logement est parfait ! une vue magnifique , et tres confortable. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour chez Ruben , et nous recommandons ce logement.

We really loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for our trip around the Lofoten. The area is quiet but still super central for driving around and going for hikes. Also we were able to charge our EV which was just perfect. If we are able to revisit the Lofoten we would always come back to this absolute gem!

Die Wohnung war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Bett ist nur 120 cm, das sollte man sich bewusst sein. Die Lage ist gut, man kann dort tolle Wanderungen machen und erreicht mit dem Auto schnell andere Orte. André war gastfreundlich und es war einfach mit ihm zu kommunizieren.

Trine’s place is our home away from home for 4 nights. Everything is perfect and the view is to die for, so breathtaking. Excellent communication and quick to respond. We highly recommend Trine’s place, if you see it available, don’t hesitate to book it.

Tässä modernissa, puhtaassa asunnossa oli hyvin tilaa 2-5 henkilölle. Parasta kohteessa olivat kuitenkin upeat maisemat ja rauhallinen ympäristö.

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit Sicht auf die Hafeneinfahrt und die Ankunft der Hurtigrutenschiffe. Öffentliche Sauna gleich nebenan, bestes Restaurant von Nordnorwegen ca 20 Minuten zu Fuss.

Central and convenient location. The apartment is very clean and check in was easy. The charger for our EV made charging our car easy and we never had to stop to charge it while out during the day.

Ich weiß gar nicht genau, welches Superlativ ich wählen soll. Die Wohnung von Monica ist einfach nur WOW!!!! Sehr groß und unglaublich stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. In der Küche findet man alles, was man zum Kochen braucht. Das Wohnzimmer ist unglaublich schön. Die Betten sind ein Traum. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Die Waschmaschine im Badezimmer haben wir auch genutzt. Waschmittel ist vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist äußerst gut gelegen, sehr ruhig, aber doch dicht an Leknes heran und natürlich sehr dicht zum Offersøykammen. Monica und ihre Cousine waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten auch eher einchecken. Fazit, so gut haben wir noch nie über Airbnb gewohnt. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Vi havde fornøjelsen af at bo 8 dage over påsken i Rogers lejlighed i Ballstad. Vi er rejst hjem utrolig glade og tilfredse. Lejligheden ligger skønt og centralt med gåafstand til alt ligefra indkøb til vandreruter til busstoppested. Indtjekning gik super nemt og uden problemer. Lejligheden levede helt op til billederne. Sengen og dyner var gode. Badeværelset havde en god bruser og var rent og nydeligt. Køkkenet manglede intet og stuen indbød til hygge. Udenfor var der bord og bænk vi spiste frokost ved og nød udsigten. Det var en stor luksus, at vi ikke skulle gøre hovedrent, men blot lægge håndklæderne i vasketøjskurven. Det siger vi tak for. Alt i alt følte vi os utrolig hjemme, og kunne sagtens havde taget en uge mere. Vi vil anbefale stedet og Roger som vært til alle som skulle ønske at besøge Ballstad. Roger var en fantastisk vært som hjalp os med at komme hjem da ingen busser kørte fra Ballstad. 100% et besøg værd, og et sted vi ønsker at komme tilbage til.
