Stunning new home in perfect location for short walk to Kaikoura waterfront and South Bay. Clean, beautifully appointed, spectacular view, peaceful, private. Expensive stay but it is a high quality home.

Lieu atypique et plein de charme. Nos enfants ont adoré dormir dans l’ancien garage des diligences avec les selles des chevaux exposées comme décoration. Mike et Linda ont été très accueillant et nous ont fait faire le tour de la propriété qui réserve de nombreuses surprises! Malgré le temps pluvieux nous avons passé un très bon moment !

beautiful house, close to town, great bath, has 3 bedrooms all with double beds. a lot of trucks go past at night, which is a shame, i found sleeping in the bedroom closer to the back of the house dampers the noise. we had a lovely time visting though and would again

Dejligt hus med en hyggelig have til. God lokation i byen. Vi havde desværre mange myrer på nogle af værelserne, men ellers nød vi virkelig vores ophold.

We absolutely loved this place, highly recommend staying here. Kitchen had everything you'd need, including a slow cooker which came in handy! Lots of space both inside and out (our party was 4 adults plus our toddler). Also the hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely be coming again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Country Views. Great views of the ranges and surrounded by farm animals. The home was modern, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was excellent. Highly recommend staying here.

The place and the location were absolutely stunning and we loved tending to and then sitting in the hot tub at sunset.

Leanne was a fantastic host! She has a beautiful home/oasis right by the ocean that everyone should come and enjoy! From the beach out front, to the large deck, morning and afternoon trains passing by (which by the way weren’t that noisy inside) and even the spa! All of it was exactly as we expected! Leanne was prompt in communicating and ensured we had everything we needed! We will definitely be coming back for another stay soon!

Jennifer's place home away home. Felt so comfortable away from home. Each and every thing, she has given importance for the comfort of residents. One need not worry about any thing. She is a wonderful host, waited for us to reach the place and given all the information needed for us and left. She has maintained that place so neat and comfy. We would love to return to Kaikura and stay in Jennifer's place and also recommend this place for every one. Home away home. Wonderful break fast with lots of variety and no one is left out in that spread. She has even taken care of small details for us, when we reached so late. What a magical escape Charlie’s cabin has been. Nestled among the trees and mountains, it gave us the peace and beauty we were looking for. We came here—me, my fiancée Jasmine, and my mum—for a special getaway, and we’re leaving with memories we’ll always treasure. From the crackle of the fire to the quiet stillness of the stars above, this place has a soul of its own. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us.

Amazing place with incredible scenery in both poor and good conditions. Great for an exciting adventure with all of the usual comforts once indoors, really enjoyable to live in a simple and minimal way up in the mountains.

We loved staying at the Villa, the perfect spot for our families to get away. the Spa was an absolute bonus esp with the snow. The house was heated upon arrival which was so welcoming. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Thank you.
