Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and airy. Downstairs there is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen. There is also plenty of space and sleeping places in the loft. A new lakeside sauna was built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the modern conveniences, and the large windows offer a magnificent lake view in two directions. It's nice to watch the northern lights and listen to the silence in the warmth of the fireplace. Welcome!

Relax with a larger family in this quiet lakeside "cottage" with the comforts of a detached house. The house is located on a sunny plot. Beach sauna with wood-burning stove in use all year round, the house also has an electric sauna. The beach sauna dressing room has heating. In summer, if necessary, there is also an electrified outbuilding, with space for 4-5 people. In the area, for example, bear watching services and sale of fishing licenses. This is a log cabin with a lakeside view located 21 km from Kuhmo town and 130 km from Kajaani Airport. It features a sauna cabin, two bedrooms, and a living room with a kitchen. There is also a BBQ area in the front yard. Local wildlife centers offer wildlife tours, which can be booked through the Wildtaiga site.
