Near the house is Kokufu Shrine, famous for its Hadaka Festival, about a 3-minute walk to the approach and about 5 minutes to the main hall. Why don't you take a leisurely stroll? Within walking distance, there are supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, karaoke, banks, police boxes, and other facilities that are convenient for daily life. From Nagoya Station, you can use the Shinkansen, trains, buses, etc., making it very convenient to access cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Gifu. To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

This guesthouse is a renovated 120-year-old traditional Japanese house located in the merchant town of Omi Hino, overlooking Mt. Watamuki in the Suzuka Mountains of Shiga Prefecture, with the concept of "nostalgic yet new." The townscape of Hino itself is somehow nostalgic and calming. "Watamukiyama Village" was born in a corner of this town in 2019. Accommodation is limited to one group at a time, and the accommodation fee starts from the rate for two people.
