Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kalamazoo County

Highly recommend staying here for a lake vacation! It’s a beautiful spot with easy swimming, kayaking, and fishing right out the back door. It was extremely clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and dishes. The beach towels and chairs that were available were so helpful to us. And Alanna graciously allowed us a late check out after our son’s baseball game so we didn’t have to rush. I will say, we had 4 adults and 5 kids (1 toddler) and this place certainly can accommodate everyone, but probably better suited for a family of 5-6 if you have to spend time indoors. But our kids even said they wanted to make this a yearly vacation spot.

We had a great stay at Boz & Kim's place, when traveling through Vicksburg for a friend's wedding. The house was spacious - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was comfortable/cozy. The property is situated back from the road, in a pretty area with trees and a large yard. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck.. Kim was easy to reach by phone and we really appreciated her hospitality! Would definitely like to stay here again in the future. Only thing to note: the address listed was incorrect on Google maps, so double check with Kim & Boz for the correct directions before your trip!

We had a great family vacation at Santiago's property. The location was the main reason we got it as we have family and friends living in walking distance. Loved the interior decoration. The view from the bay was amazing.

The house was located on the lake with a private dock and lots of water amenities: floats, paddle boat and kayaks. The living room is spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. The fishing was great. We had a great time and really enjoyed the place.

Robb's place was perfect for our family's needs. Great location to all things in Kalamazoo and local family in the area. very comfortable, clean, and cozy home. All necessary amenities available. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings with the host readily available if needed. Will definitely book here again for future stays in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was very nice and neat. The host was great at responding in little to no time, and was very helpful. I’d definitely stay here again! Parking was a little tricky. We parked on the street because the driveway was full and received a ticket on our last day. That was the only downside though! And the ticket was only $15.

Brianne is a wonderful host, and very responsive. Her place was oh so cute and comfy!

The home was perfect in size for our 16 member family. The theater room was so enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were used every day!! We cooked all of our food there, including pudgie pies over the fire. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary items needed for cooking, including a Kitchen aid mixer that we used to make a birthday cake while we were there. The instant hot water was awesome as was the water pressure. The decor in the house and all of the grounds outside were perfect! Lots of places for good photo opportunities! We enjoyed every minute of our stay there and hope to stay there again in the future!!!

My friends and I found Rick’s beautiful home for our annual get together. The house was just as described, with 0 problems arising. If we needed help with anything, such as local areas to check out or looking for something at the house, Rick was very quick to answer, wanting the best for our stay. Along with this, huge shout out to Bill!! Overall amazing stay, thank you Rick and Bill!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Sally was a fantastic host — responsive and thoughtful. The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location is truly special — the gorgeous lake was the highlight, and we spent hours just sitting on the dock soaking up the sunshine. It’s also very kid-friendly, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Highly recommend this spot for families or anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful, well-equipped setting.

I stayed at this lovely Airbnb in Fennville, Michigan for 4 days and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The property was cozy, clean, and perfectly tucked away for a quiet and relaxing getaway. It had everything we needed—comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and a great outdoor space to unwind. The location was ideal for exploring the area. We visited nearby Saugatuck and Douglas, enjoyed wine tasting at local vineyards, and took peaceful walks along the beach at Lake Michigan. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, offering local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. Whether you’re looking for a romantic retreat or a nature-focused escape, this spot in Fennville is a hidden gem. I’d definitely return!

Jen and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. They were quick to respond to any of our questions or needs. Very nice camp area with lots of activities to choose from.

Wonderful place on a beautiful lake. Very peaceful. I went for a solo mountain biking trip and the apartment had everything I needed. The area offers so much beauty. I loved that there are mountain bike trails literally 5 minutes away from the apartment or 15 minutes for a more extensive network of trails. I loved kayaking and paddle boarding in the area on all the beautiful lakes and Thornapple River.  The apartment has everything for a short or extended stay. I loved utilizing the kitchen to make breakfast in the morning. Stacey is one of the quickest hosts to reply and very helpful. I would stay again. 

Great house and host. Our city kids and dogs loved the natural surroundings. Geese, ducks, frogs, and a turtle were all sighted. Dog run is fully fenced and connects directly to the house for easy in and out. Guest house is cute and private. Greta place to get away and chill.

We loved everything about this rental. Super comfy beds and sofa, large kitchen, very clean. We especially loved the entertainment options. We enjoyed playing video games and the very comfortable chairs on the balcony. We enjoyed eating carry out from Bimbo's and Sarkozy's on the balcony. We come to Kalamazoo about once a year and look forward to renting this unit again.

Paul's apartment is on the second story of an old mansion. It is extremely clean and well furnished, but the stairs and narrow corridors and doors make it unsuitable for people who have mobility issues. The bathroom has been nicely remodeled but it is very small with a narrow entrance. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Beds are memory foam and really quite comfortable. Lots of cookware in the kitchen. The apartment has 2 enthusiastic space heaters for warmth which you need to adjust to avoid overheating. The large well lit parking area is well maintained. The building was surprisingly quiet considering the large number of apartment units

Definitely recommend this BnB and this host! The space was very clean and spacious, looked just like the pictures. The host was also responsive and friendly. Perfect for our quick trip. Thank you again!

I had a work project in MI for a couple of days. My project had delays and I decided to extend my stay in Paul's property. Everything went very smoothly from my check in to my extension request and to check out. Paul was a very responsive, fair, and communicative host. I strongly recommend this place for others to try.

This a really nice spot in a great location. Paul was a fantastic host. Easy to talk to and was always quick to respond. He even bought me an extension cable so my computer charger reached the outlet to the desk, as well as a brand new bath mat! Check in was a breeze. Internet blazing fast. Very comfortable, spacious place, and I'm a real sucker for real hardwood floors. Lovely afternoon sunlight in the office nook while I worked. Having a full kitchen is also a big bonus. 10/10 would book again.

Paul is an amazing host! Super nice and checks in on you from time to time to make sure you have everything and that things are going good. His place is great! Very spacious and had lots of natural light.

We had an awesome stay! The place was perfect for our group of 8—plenty of space, and the hot tub and pool table made it even better. The hosts were super accommodating with checkout, which we really appreciated. Would definitely book again!
