It's tucked away in the beautiful and untouched Himalayan village of Lopchu. Keshav and his family were incredibly warm — their hospitality was truly something else. I stayed here with my older parents, and we were made to feel completely at home, like part of the family. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but with Keshav around to guide you, it’s totally manageable. I’d love to come back and stay longer next time. P.S. You can take a peaceful walk around the tea garden nearby. They also served us lovely homely food for dinner at a very reasonable price.

We enjoyed our stay with our pets at the beautiful homestay. The house is very well maintained and overlooks a valley and a hill. The house has a beautiful garden also. The ambience of the place is very peaceful. Sujata, the owner, cooked tasty meals for us and our pet dogs. Overall a very enjoyable and comforting experience.

Prashant ji was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He guided us with our local travel plans and shared excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s home—a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Highly recommended!

The property is located in the mid of a tea garden. Beautiful place. Perfect for spending some time in the midst of lush green scenic beauty. On top of it Rebika is an awesome host. She took care of us very well. Approaching road is not perfect. But it's worth the trouble once you reach the place.

We had a wonderful stay at Sangeeta’s charming homestay, The Attik!! I traveled with my wife and two sons, and the space was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Uday and Sangeeta were extremely warm and gracious hosts—very welcoming and always available if we needed anything. Uday uncle offered us great local recommendations and made sure our stay was comfortable from start to finish. While, Sangeeta auntie made our stay memorable with extremely delicious breakfast during our stay! It felt like home during the interesting and warm conversations with uncle and we were touched with the humble and grounded gesture of uncle and auntie! Rapden & Ankita were great host. Ankita greeted us and welcomed us same as meeting an old friend. She was proactive throughout the stay. Made us feel like home from day one. We enjoyed the stay a lot. Despite our booking for a short room they upgraded us to a comfortable one considering our needs. Thank you so much for making us feel like home. Too good place definitely should give a visit and also not to forget the mesmerising view from the balcony.

This was my first time staying in Mangpoo and I would stay here again. The setting is magical. Close to Rabindra Bhavan, which was my only real point of attraction besides the lovely hills seen from Kalpana's place, the living room, the rooftop etc. Great place also to just study, with the living room fronting the bedroom. I enjoyed the home cooked fund too! Wonderful.

Had a good stay at Anjalina’s place. Cozy room with a door to the balcony. Mattress, pillow, and quilt were comfy and pillow cover/ sheets were clean. There was a kitchenette which was nice to prepare morning coffee and tea whenever you wanted to. Road leading to the property is nice and two wheeler parking was a blessing. Communication with Anjalina was cool and she also recommended local food places. Will definitely visit again and will recommend to friends and fam. Thanks!

The moment me and my son stepped into this homestay, we felt at home, and Anjalina, Rubina and their parents left no stone unturned to ensure that the feeling lasts. We left with a heart full of joyous memories of wonderful conversation we had together and a vibrant body, thanks to the delicious home cooked meals endowed with rare nepali delicacies. The entire family posses a great deal of knowledge on any and every topic from visa interviews and traditional cuisines to life abroad and tourism. We were not treated as mere guests but very parts of their extended family. The location is perfect with all the hotspots in walking distances. If you are planning to experience the serene atmosphere of Mirik or looking for an accomodation in its proximity, don't even think twice before booking their homestay which truly lives upto it's name "haamro ghar"

Leon's place was perfect for our 4 day stay in Kalimpong..we stayed in the Maina suite and the house was absolutely incredible and super functional. We loved how they took care of each small detail like decor, furnishing, comfort and an amazing balcony space overlooking the valley. Both Leon and Prasan were very helpful for anything you need. must stay.

It was one of my best stays. Calm and cozy place. The host leon is a great friend and a gem of a person. His passion for everything including the hospitality is just home away from home. The places and squeaky clean lashed with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The staff too are really polite and helpful and available at your service. The location is placed on the town and has an authentic bhutanese restaurant. Must try I would recommend people visiting should definitely consider this place for a hassle free stay and an unforgettable hospitality.

A truly exceptional stay. The property was well-equipped, impeccably clean, and offered a breathtaking 10/10 view — we could even see Kanchenjunga from both the living room and bedroom. We enjoyed cooking meals, listening to music, and relaxing with wine. A special thanks to Prasan, the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and kind. The house was very clean and the view from the Balcony was stunning. All the basic utensils Needed to cook was provided. Another point which is worth mentioning is the bathroom was clean. The staff were very helpful and responsive. I will definitely will like to stay again if I visit Kalimpong again. Thank you Leon, Prasan and all the staff.

We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed it as a family. The surroundings were calm and relaxing. The wooden floors and warm lighting gave the room a cozy feel. We could cook for our little son, which was very convenient. The furniture was old—my child and I sank into the sofa and got hurt. Though the host fixed it after we informed them, we didn’t use it again out of caution. There was a guitar that matched the atmosphere, but one string was missing and it wasn’t tuned, so we avoided it. The window didn’t offer a proper view of the hills due to its position and nearby construction. However, the walls and photo frames were simple and elegant, giving off a nostalgic charm. A thoughtful touch was when the host gave a teddy bear to our son to play with the next day. Despite a few issues, it was a nice and memorable experience.

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

It was a great stay. Even though it was weekend and staff left early, Mr. Deepak was always responsive over phone calls. The fireplace was amazing, we clicked amazing pictures. Had an attractive garden with a very beautiful reading place. We stayed for 2 nights. On the checkin day we arrived very late, almost all restaurants were closed by then but Mr. Deepak arranged very homely food for us all. Overall, it was a great experience. We were headign to Pelling after Darjeeling, Mr. Deepak even gave a number for a stay at pelling which was amazing.
