Beachfront holiday rental in Kalk Bay

This place was a wonderful getaway! Incredible views over the ocean and the most charming cabin to stay in. The check in was a little challenging in the dark, but Utas instructions and pictures helped us find our way. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Rustic beach house. Not much to the accommodation, simple and comfortable. exceptional location. Loved our stay. Feels like you’re in a David Attenborough documentary. Would definitely return

Wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The place is conveniently close to shops and restaurants, and beautifully situated right next to the beach and the scenic Chapmans Peak Drive. Would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived, we went to the wrong place and Graham came to collect us - he even helped and carried some of the bags. The apartment is stunning. Overlooking the sea - what a view! I can't wait to go back because I was not disappointed. By the way - the security lady was so helpful.. Graham is a gem as he kept on checking how we were doing..

The apartment is beautifully decorated, impeccably tidy, and incredibly spacious. Large windows in both rooms offer breathtaking views over False Bay. One of the highlights is the front deck—an ideal spot to enjoy a sunrise coffee while taking in the stunning scenery. The apartment is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need, along with some delightful extras. Thank you for the generous treats—we thoroughly enjoyed the Rosé, crackers, delicious cheeses, and fresh fruit. The only thing worth mentioning is that the shower floor can be a bit slippery. Despite the non-slip mat, I had a nasty fall—so just a word of caution there. That said, Kevin and Ilana’s apartment is a true gem. I still rate it a 10/10!

We stayed in Alexa's apartment for a week and had a great time there. If we had any questions or needed anything she helped us immediately. We can warmly recommend Alexa and her place.

Jason's unit was absolutely wonderful. As instructed, we messaged Chris(property manager) from the airport and he was waiting for us in front of the building. After guiding us to the secured parking garage, we checked in on the ground floor, a 2-3 mins process. Then up to the unit where Chris explained how to access building/garage, about area shops and restaurants, recommended local sites & paragliding(loved it!). It made a big difference in getting our bearings. The 2-bedroom unit was meticulously clean w/ lots of natural light. The kitchen was well-stocked and thoughtfully laid out (coffee,sugar,cream,paper towels,etc) and the view was incredible. Even the bed was comfortable(important to us) & I’m happy to report we slept well, commenting how comfortable the bed was each morning. The location was excellent, one block from the beach walk and main strip and significantly quieter. Across the street there's a grocer, bakery/restaurant, hair/nail salon, pharmacy, etc. A great place!

The house was very nice and cozy. It had plenty of space for 6 of us. Great lactation, next to the beach. Has a great kitchen to make dinners.

We loved the home like feel of the apartment, and we loved our stay by the ocean. We appreciated the special touches like the bottle of wine in the fridge. Great hospitality, we felt very welcome and would gladly be back.

Excellent apartment block right opposite the beach. Felt very safe with underground parking. Its a large one bedroom apartment about 50 square. You dont hear any traffic. Great for someone who need surf lessons or want to explore muizenberg and live next to the beach. The host are very friendly people. The building has a basement laundrymat coin operated but it better to go give your clothes to one of the laundry near by. There is a few in the area. Lots of places to eat right in the block where this apartment is. Over all well recommended.

We spent a few days at Marvin's place and it felt like home away from home. He's an amazing host to say the least, I'm definitely recommending his place to my friends and family.

I loved staying here and will definitely come back! Super clean and sweet apartment with everything you need, even a washing machine. And cute details to make you feel right at home like some breakfast rusks and coffee, milk and water. Also loved the bed, slept like a baby. And from the front door you can check the surf! Also building is very safe. Thanks so much, really enjoyed my stay!!!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place was modern, clean, and had a stylish vibe. It’s in a charming seaside town, about a 30-minute drive from a really nice surf spot at Muizenberg Beach. The host was great. Super helpful and welcoming. Also loved that the apartment had direct access to a mall with shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

It was the most beautifulf home in the most beautiful setting, with views of Chapman's Peak and the ocean and a calming home to view them from. The house is well-located and walking distance from the beach, restaurant and shops making it an easy location to stay with kids or guests not wanting to drive far. We enjoyed morning runs up Chapman's Peak and coffee breaks at local coffee bars. The house was clean, generous in space and beds were incredibly comfortable. The host was always available for a quick query. We highly recommend this spot!

I’ve stayed in several units in the Empire building. This by far was the most beautifully decorated and the most perfect location. I dealt with the co-host Jeanne. She was absolutely amazing. Very helpful and just such a pleasure to coordinate with. I will definitely be back again. Thank you!
