Fox Folly Cabin is a cozy, all season cabin in beautiful Northern Michigan. It is nestled among the pines, less than a mile from beautiful Bear Lake, and 5 minutes from the Manistee River. Whichever season or adventure you seek, Fox Folly will be a great base for your time Up North. Guests will have access to pristine, all sports Bear Lake, ORV trails, and not to mention, the best tourist sites are all within about 1.5 hours travel! Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate trailer parking.

The suite is also centrally located in Northern Michigan... only 30 min - 1 hr from Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Gaylord, Grayling and Cadillac, making it the perfect home base for day trips to area attractions!

COZY A-Frame on 5 acres near Torch Lake & Traverse

Originally built in 1995, this A-frame lodge was once a rustic hunting and fishing cabin. It lived many years as a seasonal property before evolving into what you see today. This peaceful cabin sits amongst 5 acres of beautiful maple trees. What drew us to this property was the quaint Northern Michigan location and the knotty pine interior. There is something welcoming and relaxing about a peaceful, rustic-feeling retreat in the woods. This is how The Lodge: Our Northern Knotty was born.

Cozy Hideaway! 10 min to Torch, 30 min to TC!

A hidden gem and rustic getaway perched next to a cascading creek! 320 sqft tent and beautifully crafted framework was constructed with timber from the property! Feel relaxed while you're sitting on the covered porch or cozied up on the couch with a good book. 15 acres of forest to unwind w/out the stress of setup! We provide bedding, cook stove, pots, pans, and basic essentials. An outhouse (newly built, naturally lit) is close, but not too close to the tent. Woodstove for heat source.

The Cub Hill Chalet - Private Lakefront with Spa!

This is a beautiful, family and dog-friendly chalet on wonderfully pristine Cub Lake between Kalkaska and Grayling. The home features a huge multi-level deck with lakeview and a new year-round spa / hot tub on the deck with a view of the lake. Also includes private lakefront with a dock, raft, bonfire ring with chairs, 4 kayaks, 3 paddleboards, a canoe, and a pedal boat! Works both as a great family or small group vacation home as well as a wonderfully romantic getaway for couples!

Canoeing, Kayaking, and Trout fishing on Cannon creek, and the mighty Manistee river within walking distance. 20 lakes with in 20 minutes. Enjoy peace and quite with limited phone service but super fast star link wifi. Beautiful fall colors. Quiet cozy nights under the dark sky.

Bear & Cub Lake are right down the road for you to enjoy, and we are directly across from the 76 ORV trail. Downtown Grayling- 20 minutes Downtown Kalkaska- 20 minutes Boyne Resort- 45 minutes Torch Lake- 45-60 minutes Traverse City- 50 minutes Pets are allowed, but must be added to reservation. We love this place, and everyone we bring here does too. Newly renovated it has just the right amount of rustic and new. This log cabin is a great place to unwind with a game of disc golf, corn hole or just relax by the campfire. Perch Lake is a half mile up the road if you like to fish, swim, or kayak. only 30 min. from Traverse City the possibilities are endless. Casinos, wineries, and fine dining and tons of outdoor activities.
