Nestled in the mountains of Nagano at an elevation of 860 meters (2,821 feet), this is a luxury home exclusively for those who want to escape tourist traps, experience a side of Japan rarely seen by outsiders, and do it in style. Our 3-bedroom home is 200 sq. meters (2153 sq. feet) large and is a marriage between traditional Japanese architecture and modern technology and comfort. The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

An old Japanese Traditional KOMINKA house with a history of about 150 years. It's located along the River. When you open the window, you can feel the pleasant breeze coming up from the river. Opposite the house is a Shrine and two large zelkova trees that are designated as national natural monuments. It's like the world of Ghibli. "SUMIRE AOI HOUSE" is a small Japanese house. The basic structure of the house was designed in 1952 by Makoto Masuzawa, a leading architect in Japan. And the house was redesigned by Makoto Koizumi in 1999. I had lived 20 years with my family. The sense of space by the south-facing large windows and the stairwell, it will make you attracted. The area has some parks and fields, and it's leisurely. I can introduce nearby shops. Please spend your time like traveling daily life.

check-in 10:00am~24:00am check-out 14pm Rental cottage front of Mt.Fuji. I want you take calm time with your loved ones in the cozy house. *It's very suburb, so you need a car(snow tires are necessary during December to April) to come and sightseen. There are livestock farms around the house. Sometimes, smells like a barn for cows. If you don't like it, I don't recommend you to book the house.
