Nigishima-cho is located in the southern part of Mie prefecture, and you can enjoy the beautiful azure seascape called Kumano Blue. Enjoy the view of the calm sea of the port town from your room and relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a nostalgic port town on Nigishima. Kumano City is located on the prefectural border with Wakayama Prefecture, and is the best place to drive around Wakayama and Mie's famous places.

西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

創業は1957年、祖父「田内栄一」が和歌山県田辺市の文化発展のため「愛和荘」という旅館を営んでいました。その歴史と伝統を守り続けるため、孫である「喜重子」が2021年に屋号を復活しオープン致しました。 上野山城跡に建つ当宿は、床の間がある純日本家屋です。和室２室でゆっくりお過ごしください。田辺市街を一望できる高台に宿がございますので、朝は朝日を、夕方は夕焼けを、夜は夜景をお楽しみ頂けます。風が穏やかな日は桂離宮の月見台をイメージして作った檜のウッドデッキの上で、縁側の藤の椅子にかけてティータイムもオススメです。 この度新設したお風呂、トイレはバリアフリーで広さを取ってありますので、一緒に入浴したり、介助が必要な方でも楽にお使い頂けます。 和室の１室にpopin.aladdin(プロジェクタ付照明）を設置しました。襖に投影し テレビや音楽、映画などをご覧頂けます。朝お出かけの前にyoutubeでBGMなどをお楽しみください。 宿の隣に両親、田内喜三、淑子（日本人）が住んでおりますので、何かありましたらいつでもお声掛けください。

With years of experience welcoming and providing tours for travellers, you don't even need to do advanced research about Koyasan. The Japanese house stands in a biosphere reserve village, upstream on the Miyagawa (Miya River) which flows from Odaigahara National Park to Ise. The river is just a few minutes walk from the house which is the best place for chilling out, swimming with your family or family and enjoying water. 20 mins' drive from JR "Misedani" station and 60 mins' drive to the Osugidani Valley (one of the three greatest valleys in Japan).

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
