The place was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly humble and welcoming. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely come again!

My stay was perfect. I was greeted by Maria, who is exceptional. She introduced me to culinary specialties and several neighborhoods of Malacca. The location is peaceful, perfect for resting. It is also very close to the city center. I thank Maria and Mun!

Great place. Host was very nice to allow me early check in. Typically, I wont ask for it but I had an emergency and required to log in early for my work. The place also has minimalist vibes to it. Will book again if Im coming to melaka

CHCH by LEJU | 2 Bedrooms | 8 pax

The location is really one of a kind unique and so beautiful. During the day, you can hear the hustle and bustle of the bakery downstairs, but we were usually not there. In the green bedroom, there is a lot of light and noise from the street. We therefore used the other bedroom. In the evening, it is a bit remote and in the dark it sometimes looks a bit ghostly. The 3 shower and toilet areas are ideal, but the electricity of the heating elements for the water could be better. The sockets are very close to the shower head. When we went out around the bakery's opening time, there was often a line of people waiting for the bakery, trying to get in. That was a bit uncomfortable, but you have no other way out. The parking lot was also often full and the bakery guests parked in the space reserved for the house. Zanne is very friendly and responds quickly.

Joti's oasis

A must-visit jewel for anyone interested in authentic historic architecture. I stayed at Sam’s property on Jalan Kampung Kuli (literally translated as “the road of the laborer village”). The home has maintained its authentic original design, flooring, hardware, and decorative elements. When I stepped inside, I felt as if I had traveled back in time to the late 1800s, living with the family in the very same building. I also love the location—it’s right in the heart of historic Jonker Street, where a lot of museums, historic homes, and eateries line the street. Don’t forget to enjoy the balcony and the peaceful neighborhood view from the 2nd floor!
