Double Room West : Kamakura International House

LealyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Thank you Koji-san for a pleasant stay! The place is a bit far from most tourist area, being located in residential neighbourhood but the quiet place and the host makes up for it by picking us up from Kamakura Station and dropping us to Fujisawa Station when we asked. Definitely recommended to those staying in Kamakura. Although the narrow staircase to room might be challenging to some older adults or others with difficulties so take note. Koji also provides private tours in Kamakura if you inquire, which is good for families.

Confortable room in Tokyo Machida

The price is very cheap, it is very close to Odakyu line Tamagawa Gakuenmae Station, very convenient transportation, the first time you come, the location of the house is quite difficult to find, you can find it by navigating with google map. The owner of the house is two elderly people, very kind, I changed the room for me, also provided free breakfast service, the cup face inside the house is also very cheap, it is very suitable for students to travel to live.Nice clean room with all kinds of facilities.Thank you so much for the homeowner's hospitality.🙏🏻

Spacious! Shibuya House w/Garden

We had a very nice and relaxing time at Keiko and Kako's place. In many ways, it felt like we were visiting friends or relatives. Their place is very beautiful and spacious, and the atmosphere is extremely cozy. We were lucky enough to share breakfast and dinner with them a couple of times. The location is also amazing, in a residential, relaxed but well connected area, very close to the train station. Our hosts were very helpful and provided us with all the information we needed and gave us a very nice introduction to Japanese culture and cuisine. After a long journey, our jet-lagged family couldn't have chosen a better place to start our visit. We look forward to a future stay.

I cannot say enough good things about this AirBnB. If it’s available for your dates, go ahead and do yourself a favor by booking it. The hosts are warm, hospitable, and exceptional people who made me feel very welcome in their home. In the short time I spent there, it felt like home. I hope to return one day, and I hope that you will also get to enjoy this lovely opportunity. Thank you!!!!

Cute room with cute dogs and cats/Good access to Shibuya, Yokohama, Haneda Airport Breakfast included Yokohama photo tour

I had a wonderful two-week stay at Kumiko and Hirokazu’s Airbnb. They’re kind, engaging hosts who speak good English and are happy to chat about a variety of topics. I was picked up and dropped off at the bus station, and Kumiko even gave me rides to nearby stations when it fit her schedule. Upon arrival, I received a helpful guide with instructions and tips on local sights. The home is spacious and clean, with shared facilities that felt far more comfortable than a typical hotel. I also enjoyed spending time with their sweet pets. Fast Wi-Fi and streaming services were a nice bonus. Machida is a pleasant city, well-situated for day trips to Tokyo, Kyoto, Kanazawa, or Mt. Fuji. Most of my questions were easily answered, and I received great recommendations for places to visit. Extras like access to an e-bike, basic groceries, and the option of delicious home-cooked Asian dinners (for a small fee) made the stay even more special. The value for the money here is incredible!

Kimie was a wonderful host. The food was delicious and on Wednesday nights she feeds the children who need a good meal. It was the most friendly environment I've been in. Easy walk to Kamakura town and train station. I will definitely return.

The food and the room were very satisfactory. It was my first time using it, but it was an explanation of the access to the inn, and the communication after I arrived was very polite and pleasant. I would like to stay again if I have a chance.

Ocean view Japanese experience stay 1h fromTokyo

ZhihanRating, 5 stars34 months ago
In short it was a very satisfying experience. House and gardens are tastefully made. Cups and plates are carefully chosen. Equipments and amenities are of good quality. The space design harnesses the ocean view and presents it in a less noisy frame. In the same space opposite ocean you get a picturesque garden view. Strong natural elements meets man-made tranquility in one room. It’s hard to beat. Nobu San was making great effort to make sure we felt comfortable of him being the house master. He did everything, driving, ordering food, arranging meals, etc. The dinner we ordered was quite excellent as well. Thanks to the chef in collaboration. This might be the best small house along kamakura coast. We highly recommend it to others.
