Great AirBnB near to the ferry terminal in Mkoani. Beautiful space, well taken care of, with local contacts to help with everything from groceries and cooking to managing electricity purchases and transportation. Would highly recommend staying with Mohammed and his brothers.

Excellent place in Pemba

Me and my friends had such an amazing experience as our first time in zanzibar and staying at the waterfront staycation. The host Mundhir was the best!! He was so helpful and responsive and gave us everything we needed. His staff was amazing as well, the cook and our breakfast meals were always something to look forward to! From groceries and ordering food to even providing shisha and a trusted driver James! The accomodation was very comfortable and spacious and the pool was great. The only to keep in mind is that the area is secluded from the city but great for a relaxing staycation. Thank you so much to Mundhir and the team, wonderful experience and 10/10 would highly recommend!

Our experience at Rafiki Hostel was absolutely great!!! The place is exceptional for those who want to be away from tourists and noise, close to an amazing beach. CrazyMan's hospitality and availability contributed to the great success of our stay. The bedding is great and the garden is a haven of peace and beauty even on New Year's Eve!! Thanks to the good advice from our host, we always enjoyed ourselves in all the recommended restaurants. CrazyMan is always available and smiling to accompany his guests into town. For him we are all his “guests.” Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!! We leave happy to have discovered a little Zanzibar and a colorful host and so friendly and funny! CrazyMan…..in French!! Rafiki responded to my request with a few hours query, he picked me up and got me to the accommodation safely. Throughout the stay he made sure I was comfortable and escorted me when I left. Thank you crazy man 🤗

Clean and cozy, hot shower and good AC. Good wifi accept one night it didn't work. Good price for the room. We really enjoyed Pemba. The breakfast was good. We left for an early flight the last day and arranged for an early breakfast but it was never delivered. They were kind enough to make us lunch one day although it was a little but above average rate compared to other places we ate in Pemba. still appreciate them cooking. 5 min walk to the main road where you can get snacks and water. The house attendant was very kind.
