It is about a 10-minute drive to Arakawa and Iwabata, where you can descend the Nagatoro Line. It is dotted with historic temples, so it is recommended to visit the power spots. You can actively move your body with paragliding, kayaking, rafting, and SUP experiences, or rent a bicycle and take a leisurely ride through the town. Nagatoro has many delicious udon and soba shops. Harvesting chestnuts, grapes, Nagatoro strawberries, and more is also fun. If you're lucky, you'll see an SL train running on the Chichibu Railway, which runs parallel to the national highway! A 50-second walk from the log house, about 90 steps to the trampoline park (reservation required) where you can play with your children to your heart's content, and have an early BBQ dinner in the garden. In the evening, if the weather is good, you can talk quietly around the fire under the stars, or have some grown-up time relaxing while watching the flames of the wood stove, with the lights in the room turned off. The open kitchen across the bar counter creates an open space. 90 minutes by car from Tokyo, 5 minutes by car from Lake Yamanaka Interchange, 20 minutes by car from Gotemba Interchange. It is also a good access to the sightseeing spots of Fuji Goko, so it is recommended for family trips and workations. We are located in a quiet and relaxing area with lots of wildlife including wild birds, deer and squirrels, bears, and badgers. We are always open as we update our guest houses. Guest homes include a kitchen, bathroom, and outside BBQ and fire pit area.
