It was a nice house with an ocean view, well cleaned in every corner, and we had a pleasant time. We stayed together, but it was too spacious and spared, so I felt a little unnecessary. At least 4 people may want to use it.(They enjoyed it because it was spacious!)

thank you for the opportunity to experience the beauty of the house and the location. My family have a superb experience. Amazing scene and architecture details which make we feel like live in a Japan story. The tea room is a surprise.

We had a very pleasant time. When I asked the host a question, I received a response immediately, and I was able to use it with peace of mind. The room was clean, the furniture was stylish, and it was a nice space as shown in the photos. The facilities are also well-equipped, and it is quite close to the station, so it is very convenient, and I think it is perfect for long-term stays. I was able to relax as if I were at home, and I was very satisfied, so I would definitely like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Quiet B&B in Pottery town Mashiko - Tatami room

Yuriko is a wonderful and very generous host. She picked us up at the train station, even though we missed our original stop. She even drove us around the next day to visit the Hamada Museum and pottery shops. Her breakfast is wonderful, I highly recommend it. Her place is cozy and easy to feel at home.

Nostalgic Family Stay | Asakusa/Skytree 40 min

RustyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The home is in an excellent location as long as you don’t mind an hour to hour and a half train ride to the heart of Tokyo. There are excellent bakery and bento restaurants right next to the local train station that is only 3-4 minutes away. The home was very clean and notable aesthetically pleasing but was just a tad bit cramped in certain areas including the laundry room and toilet room. The doorways were taller than many other buildings I have been in and the bedrooms were around average on a comfort scale. Overall, this home was a perfect spot for between 2-4 people and served nicely for a place to relax on days where we didn’t plan much sight seeing. The final cherry on top is how wonderful the host is, even going so far as to leave a nice note and some snacks upon arrival.
