The listing matched what the description said. It was very clean and breezy when you open up the balcony door and the front door which felt amazing at night given there is no AC (not needed). Be aware of parking in the back at night as it is very dark and not as lit, would suggest parking in the lot in the front of the apartment where there is cameras. Overall, we had a pleasant time at this listing as it was very convenient to VNP, waterfalls, and restaurants nearby.

Our stay at Lava Rock Retreat was amazing! The house and amenities made us look forward to coming back “home” after a long day of exploring to enjoy all it had to offer. The hot tub/shower under the stars at night couldn’t be beat. The host was also very accommodating and was quick to share local recommendations. Would highly recommend this listing!

The location of this place is unbeatable. I love that it was super affordable and within walking distance to most things. We barely drove at all which was a nice change from our last place on the Kona side. WiFi was fast (we both worked remotely and were on Zoom meetings), and the kitchen was functional enough for quick bites to eat. I would stay here again. However, if you can’t sleep in the heat or need air conditioning/a cool space to reside in, this is not the place for you. It was always warmer in our room than it was in the hallway or outside. The shower is also very tight, so if you are in a bigger body or need to bend down, be prepared to have very limited space.

We had a nice stay! Loves the two cows 🐄 so sweet and it was nice and quiet. Would stay here again! Sorry wasn’t able to meet with Vicky but we met her son and he was very nice.
