We had a relaxing and wonderful weekend stay at Sunset Retreat! Debbie was an excellent host - timely, clear communication, very friendly with lots of local recommendations and accommodating of all our requests. The cottage was pristine and full of thoughtful touches - everything from ear plugs to fresh cut flowers at every bedside to a personalized welcome card and basket. It easily slept and accommodated our 10 guests in comfort and style. Highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a beautiful retreat to unwind and recharge. We hope to be back soon!

This place was SO beautiful! Everything is new and well maintained. The interior is gorgeous. The fireplace and living room have such a nice ambience; cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were squeaky clean and very presentable too. Staying here for the weekend was exactly the mini staycation we needed. The cottage is stocked with everything you may need! Hot tub was amazing too. Can't say enough great things & we'll definitely be back. Hosts were quick to respond as well 😊 best part: our dog enjoyed his stay also!

My friends and I had a great stay! We loved the multiple outdoor seating areas and the easy access to the water. The stairs down to the water are steep but we were able to get our stand-up paddle boards down more easily than we initially thought. We also made use of the kayaks and had fun exploring the area by water. The kitchen was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and also bbq. Walkable to the grocery store and into town. The wraparound couch was perfect and so comfortable for all of us to lounge on in the evenings. Great place!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

My husband and I stayed at Alan and Rosalie’s place for our honeymoon with our pup Phoebe. We had the best time ever. The photos don’t even do this place justice. It really is a little slice of heaven. So private and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed going on walks through the various trails that are well maintained and relaxing on the dock. We will most definitely be back to visit! Alan and Rosalie were also very welcoming and responsive!

We had an amazing family trip at this lakefront cottage! The view was stunning, and the peaceful setting was perfect for relaxing. The kids loved swimming and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, and the cottage had everything we needed. Clean, cozy, and great for families ,we’ll definitely be back! We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is beautiful and has lots of thoughtful details. The kitchen is well equipped, the sauna and hot tub were great! Even though the weather wasn’t great, we didn’t mind because it was so cozy with the fireplace and sauna. Cheryl was very flexible and helpful. Definitely would go back!

We had a great time. Home was spacious, clean and had all the amenities for a peaceful weekend away from city. Everyone enjoyed fishing and boating, the fire pit and games at night. Short drive from Lindsay to stock up on food and drinks. Great communications with Rose on any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future for sure.

I had a wonderful time at Christian's cottage with a small group of friends. The outdoor amenities are great, and it's a beautiful structure. The one thing that stood out to us was the cleanliness..we found the floors to be dirty (socks turned brown quickly), and the kitchen drawers were sticky. Hopefully it was just a one time thing. Apart from this, we had a great weekend on the lake!

We had an absolutely beautiful getaway at this waterfront Gem! The location was stunning, with some of the most breathtaking sunsets we've ever seen. Everything was clean, simple, and perfectly maintained, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Our kids felt right at home from the moment we arrived, and enjoyed all the water activities! We truly appreciate Victoria's quick response and can't wait to return!

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.
