Holiday houses in Kayabe District

I can't say enough good things about my 3 nights with Jimmy and Ellie. Right from the start I felt at home when Jimmy picked me up from the station and we did a short detour around the lake so he could show me some sights. They're both so welcoming, I felt like part of the family, and the delicious breakfasts/dinners we had were some of the highlights of the trip. Hana-chan, their Bernese mountain dog, is adorable and we had fun lying around on the couch together. The house is great, it has a ski cabin vibe, I had my own section on the 2nd floor with my own bathroom. Overall the house is a lot more spacious than most places I've been in Japan. It would be easier to access with a car, though I didn't have one and still had a great time. Jimmy offered to drop me off in town so I could rent an electric bike for the day. This place was incredible, 100% worth visiting, as soon as I left I just wanted to come back again.

Yukiko’s home is in a great location close to Hakodate and a nice base for exploring Onuma Park. The home is beautiful and well stocked with everything you would want for a family vacation. We hope to return again.

Loved my stay! Everything was very clean and the host was professional and friendly. Great value.

2 adults 1 child, stayed 2 nights. We were the only guests and the Cafe /bar was closed to the public, so it was very quiet and spacious. Everything was new and clean, Good bathroom, laundry, coffee, and piano! Onuma Koen is so close to Hakodate but feels like another world. Felt like a ghost town at first but the was lots to discover - rent a bike and talk to the locals. Yukiko and team were super friendly. Enjoy

Responsive host and a great home, comfortable for 5 persons.

I had a very comfortable stay. They didn't tell me in advance, but it was very helpful that they suddenly brought a barbecue grill. The room was also clean and cute, and there was really nothing inconvenient. Thank you very much for confirming this for us.

Kaiki's place was amazing and the location was beautiful. it was within easy walking distance of good restaurants and some local shops. Kaiki was very nice, very friendly, and very accommodating.

Kaiki is a wonderful host. His place is amazing value especially if you want to live closer to Hakodate but still have a private yet comfortable living environment. I especially appreciate the amount of space and the private inside elevator to move all the luggage upstairs. Local restaurants are truly walkable, and the environment of the park is peaceful and quiet. I will stay here again next time!
