We're 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport and 40 min from Hawai‘i Volcanoes NP. We have two large rescue dogs, Jack and Boogie. They will be excited to meet you upon arrival- dog lovers only please. We also have several cats, some chickens, and our neighbors have a cow and dogs. All of them make noise, including coqui frogs at night.

Absolutely wonderful stay at a beautiful farm near Hilo. Rooms were spotless and all amenities provided. Close to both Volcanoes National Park and various other beaches in the area. If you are an animal lover this is definitely the place to go, hosts were extremely gracious and not only provided tons of helpful tips and advice on fun places to go and eat but also gave us a farm tour and introduced us to some of their animals. Entirely unique experience you won't want to miss. Highly recommended and would love to return some day!

Modern Tea House - Luxury near Hilo and Volcano

This is an absolutely amazing Airbnb with all the amenities to have a memorable time on the Hilo side of Big Island! Lynne and Jerry are wonderful hosts, who are very responsive and attentive to detail to ensure that their guests have the best experience possible. The home is spacious, immaculately clean, very comfortable, quiet, and very private. There's an automated gate that secures entry into the property, however, the surrounding area is very safe with many friendly neighbors who embody the Aloha spirit! The home is newly built with modern appliances, as are the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. It was built in a very eco-conscious and sustainable way. We had many plans scheduled during our time on this side of the island and this Airbnb is very strategically located near all the main tourist attractions, including Hilo/greater Hilo area as well as Mauna Kea. I cannot recommend this place enough and it would be an absolute pleasure to stay here again!

The place was wonderful! Looked exactly as it was in the pictures and was so nicely kept up. The hosts have really put a lot of detail into this location and we loved the binder on the coffee table with so many local things to do and places to go. Everything was provided for us, they even had beach chairs for us to use. We truly enjoyed our stay and recommend for anyone looking to stay near Hilo.

Beautiful home, the waves put me to sleep every night as well is the comfortable mattress. Kids enjoyed playing Pac-Man and watching the Nena from the back deck. Coffee and the sunrises were the best. Thanks a lot!

What a gem! Perfect location for us and our remote work on East Coast hours. Clean! The kitchen was fully functional with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the walk in shower had great hot water pressure was strong. Washer and dryer were the icing on the cake.

Stayed two weeks at Suzys little paradise and it was fantastic - from bed to kitchen as described and as expected (we've been there before and it's no secret, we already plan our next stay). Located in a quiet and pleasant residential area (quiet but not lonely), just south of Hilo and on the way to the volcanoes, just perfect for us. Washer and dryer are a huge plus for longer stays. Communication is easy and you get quick answers (if you have any questions at all because the information before arrival covers everything you need, including excursion tips). We love this place and we surely come back even if it's halfway around the world!
