The house is situated in the environmental friendly village of Ruwanwella. Around the house there are lots of trees and plants, sometimes you can see monkeys jumping on the trees. There is a large living room with a balcony where you can sit and relax. There are three bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen. My place is excellent for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). My family lives on the ground floor so you will be able to participate in local activities if you want to.

I stayed at this Airbnb on my way from Colombo to Polonnaruwa, and it was a wonderful experience. The place is owned by Dinesh, who was incredibly helpful and kind throughout my stay. The location was easy to find, the instructions were clear, and everything went very smoothly. The place was exactly as described and fit my needs perfectly. Both the owner and the staff were exceptionally friendly and supportive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Dinesh went above and beyond to help me with my requests, which made the experience even more special. Thank you for the hospitality! I would definitely come back.

Tranquility: Room two / Mountain View Room

Wow, what a hidden treasure. Arjuna and Zane made our stay so comfortable and restful, always willing to talk about the surrounds, tea plantation and beautiful gardens, but also hands-off enough that we felt relaxed. We intended to do some hiking but the weather meant options were limited, but that just meant spending more time in gorgeous surroundings learning about local plants and their uses, hanging out with their 4 brilliant and ultra friendly dogs, and eating lovely local dishes. A small village is just 15 mins walk away, which has some shops for essentials and lunch items. If you’re after a beautiful, restful place for a short break then I really couldn’t recommend Tranquility enough. It was an absolute treat and brilliant value for money.
