The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was perfect and it was a beautiful property. Upon checking in, the bathroom door was locked and the host had someone there to fix it in minutes! Highly recommend staying here

My wife and I loved our stay. The location was perfect just a few miles outside downtown Boerne. We were able to enjoy our day and quickly get away from it all on beautiful land with great cabins that feel like a true escape. The cabins were well appointed with everything we needed. Our hosts thought of everything and made our stay perfect. We had a nice chat with very hospitable chickens in the morning. And the most friendly donkey ever wished us well when we left. Don’t think twice, this is a great place to stay and the hosts are top notch. We feel like we have new friends in Boerne that we look forward to visiting again very soon.

The cottage is lovely and quaint. Comfortable bed, linens, nicely decorated, lots of miscellaneous kitchen tools, ceiling fans in and out, AC worked well. We lacked nothing. Best of all was peacefulness of sitting on porch scoping out birds (logged 39 species into eBird) and watching deer on the other side of the fence. Peaceful and private. A great spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. They have a great thing going with rescue animals and birds. Micky took us on a tour and told us heart warming stories how they adopted these animals. This was an “experience “ and not typical Airbnb accommodations! Highly recommend!

First, Hellene is a super kind soul. We got there late, but she stayed up to welcome us with a smile. The property itself is secluded and far enough away to escape light pollution, but close enough to visit Bourne. The hot tub right out the tree house was great after a long day. The stars set a break backdrop, but the colorful lights in the trees ad to the overall feel. Will definitely be back.

5 stars! My family and I drove in from Houston needing a reset—and this cabin was exactly what we needed. Peaceful, cozy, and full of charm. We really appreciated that it’s pet-friendly, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating—quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything even easier. We’ve always loved Boerne, and staying just minutes from downtown while feeling totally tucked away in nature was perfect. The screened-in back porch was my favorite part—sipping coffee in the early morning, listening to birdsong… it was truly a delight. The decor is lovely and thoughtful, and the whole space has a welcoming, rustic feel that made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely return!

Everything about our stay was excellent! Robert went above and beyond to make sure everything from beginning to end was great- would definitely recommend and use this option in this future.

Great place for some RR! We felt like we were gone for a week! The bed was super comfortable, best sleep! Our dog loved the open yard to play fetch. Every morning we woke up to deer and tons of unique birds. Boerne in general is a quaint city to visit and close to other destinations such as San Antonio or Fredrickburg. Guadalupe River State Park also was close and great place to enjoy tubing. We are looking forward to returning in the Fall!

Loved my stay, peaceful, scenic, and full of rustic charm. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. Heads up: you’re staying in nature’s backyard, so don’t be surprised if a little critter reminds you of that. Just part of the experience! Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy the real Texas Hill Country.

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary and Easter at this beautiful property! We loved that it was secluded and we were able to enjoy sitting on the back porch and watch deer. One of the special treats…They provide farm fresh eggs, Coke, Coke Zero, hot tea, and coffee. Additionally biscuits & o.j. (When you let them know)! There was a storm that came in and we felt safe, never lost power, and they checked on us to make sure we were ok! We were not focused on tv time or our phones, but internet is limited. The location is secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. There are games and a dvd player with movies, and books too! The drive is absolutely gorgeous, but it does take about 25-30 minutes to get to Fredericksburg. Which was perfectly fine with us to enjoy time together! The time we spent at the cabin was perfect! You’ll definitely want to grab your bags and reserve your stay now!

Tonka's guest house was perfect. The pictures were all accurate, I would just say that it actually looked even nicer/more lux than the pictures convey. Comfort itself is very small, but feels like it's growing. There's some adorable coffee shops and antique shops that are all walking distance, and then of course Fredericksburg is just a short drive away as well.

Jenny’s place was the prefect getaway for a quiet weekend getaway. She was super responsive even while being out the country with a 7+ hour time difference. This location is exactly how it is described and pictures don’t do the views justice. 10/10 would recommend and would totally book again.

What a great place with a great view, seen about 100+ deer every day that we were at the room( which wasn’t the whole day), great little touch with the garage door that opens to the back porch, Caroline was very helpful and responded in a reasonable time frame , would recommend this gem to anyone looking to stay in hill country of Texas … great space and super clean, private and not on top of other cabins , perfect for a couple getaway..

I wanted to take my girlfriend to the heart of the hill country so she could really understand the true beauty and this place did not disappoint! Everything was great! Everything! Quiet, quaint and romantic.

This was the calm little getaway we needed. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy, relaxing spot away (but not too far) from the big cities and traffic! The scenery is beautiful and green, surrounded by flowers and wildlife. Loved it!! ❤️
