The tens at Bluesky are great. Tense is probably too primitive a word to call them. Shelters would be better. I was there on a night that it went down to freezing. The fire pit was amazing! And they provide a heated pad for the mattress. With that heat, I slept like a baby. The reviews are correct. It sits behind a small in neighborhood. I did not think the dogs were overly loud. They certainly did not wake me up. The star is out there are just wonderful. Qui is a very special place if you’ve ever been. I would encourage everyone to go. Carrizo plane is also unique and beautiful in its way.

Dena and Greg are very welcoming and considerate, their replies are always prompt and accurate. The place is very clean and tidy, with more facilities than we can think of. The out door space and facilities are great, we enjoyed the quiet star gazing nights and breakfast on the porch with fatalistic view. We had a very pleasant and unforgettable stay in the trailer , I definitely would recommend my experience to all travelers.

The campsite is quiet, peaceful, fitted with a kitchen. Bathrooms were a little tough to find, but were clean.

John gave us a complete tour of the property when we had some questions. Everything was as described and in pictures but a bit more than we expected. There was a communal area for others who book in the area to chill, cook, and stargaze. It was super nice with each tent or camper having a unique personality and fun experience depending on what you’re looking for from a nice quiet stay in nature for a couple or for families. Our dog Ember, absolutely loved the area and had a blast chasing bunnies she saw and just running around full speed which she doesn’t often get to do in the Bay Area. Stargazing was perfect. The camper was indeed cozy & had a stove to cook whatever you needed with available cookware & utensils. A solid choice for a few days. The tents were also super nice & roomy. The bathroom area was great with showers & toilets that flush!John gave us recommendations in the area with a private area of the lake which was fun. Hosts were great & friendly! Would love to stay again!

Perfect! This is my favorite AirBnB. Everything about it is excellent. The caboose is awesome inside and out. We were very comfortable and happy to spend time there. The location could not be better. The trans going by are captivating and add to the already spectacular ambience. Janine and Dan had amazing vision when they built this and are very generous for sharing it with others. Love!❤️

Rod & Carol's MoonShine trailer is such a gem! We've stayed at another property of theirs before, the River Willow cabin and highly recommend that stay too. It's a flawless property with an amazing location on the Kern River. It's incredibly private and peaceful with great views. Every detail is thoughtful and you can really tell. They are exceptional hosts and help make Kernville a special place to vacation!

The location for the price- perfection. I loved the privacy from the world, but the camper is a bit more near the two rental cabins on the property than I would have liked. We strategically placed our vehicle like a privacy wall, which was perfect. But honestly, this place is great. The camper is a great shelter from the early daytime sun (little shade elsewhere), and the grounds are fun to explore. Exactly what we needed.
