Holiday rentals with a kayak in Kerr County

We booked last minute after our previous plans fell through and are so glad we ended up here! The property was wonderful, it is tucked away, quiet, and spacious. The same goes for the cabin itself, very spacious and stocked with everything we needed. We were in town during a random cold snap but we still had plenty to do in the area and enjoyed our stay. We are already planning to come back during the summer and would definitely recommend staying here.

The house was amazing. The location is also convenient to many nearby attractions. The river was beautiful although it was cold that day, we were able to still enjoy walking around. Highly recommend Yovani’s place to anyone looking to visit the area.

Stay hill country was brilliant! Eddie was a very great host as he responded to everything we requested as well as was always a message away and never kept us waiting when we had question’s. The place was beautiful and very clean!! Houses are good distance apart and no one is a bother to anyone else! Peaceful and relaxing place to be.

We had a wonderful time staying here while in town for a friend’s wedding! Host was friendly, attentive, and overall great.

My family really enjoyed the stay. The home and the surrounding area was beautiful. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful well-equipped house with nice furniture, very clean and well maintained, spacious patio overlooking gorgeous landscape right on the river. It was exquisite kayaking on the peaceful river and meditating with the ducks.

Renee was a great host, we had some AC issues our first day and they hopped right on it and got someone there ASAP. Things were resolved and the stay was great. River access was easy to get to and the concrete slab made for a great place to hang out. Great place to stay.

Amazing home and host. Robin’s has everything you need. I would highly recommend anybody to this property. River side property with access to the multiple kayaks and floats made this a winner for us. The home was clean and loaded with all the necessities needed. It also makes it a winner and must stay in my books solely based on the owner correspondence. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in Kerrville.

It was a very nice cozy and updated place, great location, close to the river walk. The kitchen was nice, new and equipped with everything we needed to prepare a few meals. We had a mishap with the shower head but it was repaired quickly. Yes we would stay there again. Thanks!

Beautiful and peaceful. Wished we had more time to enjoy the wonderful property. We took the opportunity to lounge outside in the afternoon visiting with the ducks and watching the river. Melanie even accommodated us early which we appreciated. We were grateful for the Zazenberg Tavern restaurant recommendation, it was simply amazing and we could have walked there. Thank you Melanie.

Extremely happy with our stay at Basecamp! The cabin was so cute and cozy, stocked with everything you would need. And included a ton of “nice to have” amenities that were so appreciated (like make up wipes, filtered water pitcher in the fridge, and duraflame for the fire pit). The hosts were quick to respond every single time! No complaints at all, we would love to return someday! Thanks team !

Was a Beautiful Place and Peaceful

The cabin was perfect for our needs with space to spread out our things and comfortable for our short stay. The river trail is literally just a minute walk away and it's beautiful to get out for some fresh air. Deer all over the area which was fun to see on our walks. Coffee place, dive bar/restaurant, gas station/convenience store all within easy walking distance. Short drive to Fredericksburg for a nice day trip. Finding the place is easy enough with the cabins all labelled with a number on the door. Keyless entry was great! If you need internet access for work though you may consider bringing a hotspot. WiFi was available but was not super fast and the signal cut pretty often. The TV in the cabin is a bit older and slow but we didn't really use it much at all. The mini fridge in the room works great unlike a lot of places I've stayed. We didn't grill (this time...) but there are several BBQ grills around the property that seem to be open for use. Looking forward to our next stay!

As a couple looking to get out of the city for a bit and hit the country, this was more than perfect. The price mixed with all the amenities this place has to offer makes it well worth it to anyone looking to take a small vacation. The hosts are very kind and respond very quick. I can’t wait to book this place again
