The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed or take a bath in the outdoor tub (May - Oct). Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Delightful one bedroom log cabin

Get away from it all when you stay in a very special, cozy log cabin in a beautiful nature setting right beside the rail trail and lots of beautiful rivers and lakes near by. This unique cabin has running water, a fridge, micro wave and a coffee bar with a coffee machine where you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting on a barstool. A very comfortable couch can be pulled out into a double bed. There is a picnic table on the porch. This cabin comes with it's own outhouse for your safety.

A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Experience Whitewater Ski Resort's expanded terrain in Goatslide this season. This creekfront ski cabin is private & feels secluded yet close to all that Nelson has to offer. A 1 min walk to a sandy beach; 5 min drive to town along the picturesque shoreline of Kootenay Lake; 25-30 min to the ski resort; or 30 min to Ainsworth Hotsprings. Perfect for Kootenay adventures or remote workers (fibre optic internet 1000 Mbps). Additional $50/night for a 3rd guest. Sorry, no pets.

A Little Piece of Heaven on the Kettle River.

Situated over looking the Kettle River in beautiful Christian Valley. While sitting and enjoying the evening sun on the deck you may see the elk, bear or deer in the meadow. They can been seen regularly. The Kettle River in known For great floating during July and August. Canoeing mid June to early July pending water levels. Fishing is catch and release. Access to great mountain trails, biking, ATV, horseback Riding(your own horses), hiking and hunting. Leave the wifi home.

Our sweet little cabin was built with much love. It’s clean, cozy and has everything you need for few days of refuge from life’s busy buzz. Close to the river, golf, ski hill, hiking, KVR bike trail and many more adventures. Has fridge, bbq, one burner propane plate and induction toaster oven. Bathroom and queen bed in loft. All bedding and linens are available. Kids welcome as there is futon couch that folds into bed. Fire pit for when fires are allowed.

The 25 minutes’ drive all the way down to downtown is on the lakeshore road, overlooking Okanagan Lake.

All amenities in kitchen, including tassimo coffee machine. Three inch thick feather bed on futon for comfort. Ski locker fifteen feet from ski run.
