We booked to stay with Pippa last minute as we were having car trouble and were due to fly from Bristol airport the next morning. Pippa was very responsive and approved our booking swiftly. Pippa gave clear instructions for us when we got to the property. It was immaculately clean, cosy and overall a gem of a find. It was the first time we have travelled away with our 5 month old baby, and Pippa had a cot at the property to set up for us which was so helpful. The bed was super comfy and we all had a great nights rest before a long day of travelling. Only 5 miles from the airport too, so great location to stay before flying from Bristol. Would highly recommend and would book again in future. 5* host and property!

Luxurious, spacious and beautifully designed - I would thoroughly recommend Granby Cottage if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in the countryside. Although Bradford on Avon and Bath are easily accessible, so you can have the best of both worlds! Amanda and James (and their spaniels) are very friendly and helpful, and we hope to return soon. PS their dog fields are probably the best we’ve visited, and I would advise pre-booking, as they are very popular.

Arthur and Jenie were really friendly, helpful hosts and, oh my, what a beautiful place to stay! The cottage is delightfully quirky with so many interesting touches - the hosts clearly have great taste and you can just tell they've really thought about the details. Loved everything about it, thank you so much!

Absolutely fantastic location, Bath a 10 minute walk and the lovely Widcombe village less than 5, everything you need on the doorstep, we didn’t use the car once in four days, perfect. Pollyanna was super helpful and really responsive, highly recommended. Morning coffee from The Colombian Company in the village a must ☕️❤️

What a lovely little hidden gem! I love my stay here even though it was only one night so comfortable like a Home from Home with everything you need. The town Centre is only about 10 minutes drive away. The bed is super comfy and the shower is amazing. Everything was tastefully decorated. I would happily booked to come back here again. I would recommend staying here.

We stayed at Andrew's place for a week whilst visiting Bath for a family wedding and we were delighted with this wonderful home. The house was immaculate, with stunning panaromic views over Bath and we had a fabulous time as a family sitting out and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Andrew provided everything we needed for a great stay, including guides for the local area and all the amenities we needed for a week stay. The house is a wonderful space for larger families like ours to stay in. Check in was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a more helpful and friendly host! We would love to stay here again in the future when we visit our family in Bath, thank you for making my sister's wedding week such a fabulous experience!

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

We had a lovely stay at Aston Cottage over the May bank holiday weekend. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children. The older adults did plenty of walking around the Estate, and the children had a great time in the play areas, soft play and the swimming pool! Two of the adults brought their own bikes and made good use of these too. Alex and Emma were excellent hosts, and were very responsive to any queries we had, both before we arrived and after. There was a small hiccup with the hot water, but this was soon sorted, once I raised. The early check in was very welcome, and so by the time our supermarket shop arrived, we were all set to start the weekend. The house and bathrooms were well equipped with condiments and bathroom 'stuff'. The Pizza shack was a great find! The only negative comments were that it was difficult to warm up the cottage, and the cleaners could pay more attention to detail, ie oven needs cleaning and there were many cobwebs! Thank you both!

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Great stay with the family at Chris & Alexandra’s. Great cottage exactly as described and located in a lovely gated community. Comfortably housed 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We benefited from clear and detailed instructions both for finding the place and staying in it. The hosts responded promptly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend the place for family stays!

Fairhazel was a lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful touches and lots of goodies. Lower Mill Estate is a lovely place to stay with lots to do - paddle boarding, swimming, walking, tennis and cycling. We would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you Jason

Great place with perfect hosts! The barn is lovely throughout and the location is perfect for lots of interesting places to visit! As hosts, they were really communicative and also respectful of our situation with a nervous dog. Highly recommend!!

From the moment we arrived at Lower Mill Estates we were in awe of how picturesque and serene the property was. Everything about this listing was as advertised and more. The host Victoria was extremely responsive and helpful when I had questions leading up to our trip. I was able to reach out with questions during our trip as well, with a fast response. Oakleigh cottage is situated next to a giant willow tree with surrounding gardens, and has the quintessential Cotswolds feel to it. I let Victoria know we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Upon arrival to the cottage, we found the cottage filled with birthday decor and a special gift for her! We were so surprised! It was such a nice touch to our stay. Our family loved swimming in the pools, kayaking, paddle boarding, and taking walks to the local restaurants. It was a one of a kind vacation that we’ll always remember. Thank you for making our stay so awesome! We hope to be back again one day!

Tamsins home was pristine well thought out and everything was quality there are so many thoughtful touches around the kitchen and around the house and the log burner was glorious Tamsin was so accommodating and helpful if there were any questions. She offered myself and my friend a longer stay at a really good price I will definitely be back in the future. It was a blessing Thankyou

Victoria's property is exquisitely decorated and furnished throughout. The location is perfect for a short stroll into the town centre and access to the disused railway walking trail opposite. The living room is large and very light and airy with a high ceiling. Although at first floor level, the back door opens out onto a lovely enclosed garden. Ideal for our dog. Above all, we were very surprised as to how peaceful and quiet the location was. Thoroughly recommend it, couldn't have wished for any more, Victoria had thought of everything.

Me and my friends had a wonderful time at the Showman's hut. Everything was just as we had imagined. Peaceful and relaxing. The only problem we had was that we should have booked the hot tub 48 hours in advance and I did 24 instead so we could not use the hot tub. In the end Neily was very accommodating by giving us some extra logs for the firepit and barbeque which we appreciated. Next time I will make sure to book the tub in advance to enjoy the full experience at Showman's hut as it looked amazing. Thank you Neily for the hospitality.

We booked a few days away in Bath for our wedding anniversary. This was the perfect location, easy and quick to walk to see the main attractions within Bath. The flat was lovely, the bed was comfy and seating area was great to relax after a busy few days. The kitchen had everything we needed and appreciated the extras for breakfast. The bathroom is huge and the bath was amazing, super deep and relaxing after sight seeing all day. Loved the cute little courtyard. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again when we next visit.

Can’t thank Catherine enough. Incredibly helpful from booking the stay until we left. It’s a beautiful cosy barn, very peaceful indeed and we slept like babies. Catherine had thought of everything and we even had a welcome hamper with lovely bits x Really easy quick walks to the cheddar gorge. Catherine’s welcome guide explained everything and really did help immensely. Thank you, thank you !! We will highly recommend to our friends and family and will certainly stay again. Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Lovely location and special lovely apartment. The road down was a little narrow but Ronnie explained how to get to the accommodation very well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. Clean bathroom with nice towels. Living room was lovely. The TV had some DVD to watch and was a nice place to relax. Pull out sofa was a little uncomfortable to sit on but was ok for the amount of time we were there. Very nice location, and accommodation would definitely recommend staying. And we would stay again

The Hidey Hole is a beautifully decorated cottage in a great location. It's just a stones throw away from the high street but being tucked away in a courtyard it felt peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. The place was very clean and tidy and had all the amenities you could wish for and more. Jo was a friendly host, easy to communicate with, giving great directions and other tips. The Morrison's carpark tip was very much appreciated, and cake on arrival was a lovely touch, Thank you :)

Fantastic location, close to the city centre, tucked away on a lovely quiet road with lots of pubs, shops and places to eat nearby. The house itself is comfy, cosey, with a lovely atmosphere and décor. You can see the pub garden from the balcony, so you're never too far from a cold beer! We would highly recommend and we'll certainly be coming back!
