The Homestay - Humble. If you're seeking peace and tranquility, you must come here. Sit by the window and all you see is the lush green panorama, all you hear is the endless chirping of birds. And when you see the clouds rolling in through the valley, you may never want to leave. The Host - Like a brother, he took care of us. Prakash bhai was there when our flight was hours late and we arrived post midnight. He did complain a bit, but that's his pahadi sense of humour. Never said no to any requests/demands. He offered us snacks+coffee+rum, and did not charge a single penny more, even though all of it was out of his meal plan. And he suggested us hikes/treks around Gurdum. This is where Chandan bhai comes in. The man not only cooked for us, but was also our guide on a short but thrilling hike to Dumbarkhola falls. Amenities - Basic. Clean room, delicious food. If you're a yak/pork lover, ask for it. 3 meals, 2 tea+snacks per day is offered at ₹600. Come here, rediscover yourself.

Had the most amazing time at Norbu Gokyil in Darjeeling! The place is super peaceful, tucked away just enough from the town to feel calm but still close enough to everything. The best part though was the lovely family hosting us — all four of them were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. You really feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just renting a place. They were always happy to help, whether it was with local tips or just chatting over tea. And their three adorable dogs made the stay even better — super friendly and so cute! The room was clean, cozy, and perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. The food was also really good and homely — just what you’d want in a place like this. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, heartwarming stay in Darjeeling. Already missing it!

Our stay at Swagata was really peace full. I actually felt as if I am at my relatives house. Swagata and souvik both were responsive and really helpful 👏 Also if you visit this airbnb don't miss morning breakfast it's really tasty. Uncle was also really sweet. This airbnb is exactly like the picture even more beautiful in reality. And what I love most about this place is they have such cute cute murtis of Ganesh ji. oh my god i literally have no words for it. And their garden area was also really pretty and well maintained. overall we had a great and safe stay stay. Will definitely recommend everyone to reach this place once.

Had a lovely stay at the Premier Siliguri Hideaway! The studio was clean, well-furnished, and exactly like the photos. Great natural light and a peaceful location in Uttorayon. Anju was a wonderful and responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful workation away from the city bustle, and we couldn’t have found a better place than this place at Takdah. Nestled in serene surroundings with stunning valley views, the stay had everything we needed — strong Wi-Fi for work, cozy corners to unwind, adorable furry friends, and the most delicious, homely food. What truly made our five-day escape special was the warm hospitality of our amazing host, Ramita ma’am, and the incredible kids at the stay, Ganga and Namrata. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, pampering us with kindness and mouthwatering meals. If you’re looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating workation spot — this is it. Kushal & Nabin are great host. Their property is very good and they have kept it well. Very close to airport. If you love pets, you will have a great time and if you're not fond of them, the pets won't bother you at all . They are very warm hosts and the food provided by them was out of the world. This wasn't my first stay with them and I was already aware of how special they are. But I still can't put into words how warm and lovely Manisha and Zikmi are. They're proactive, helpful and attentive. They would often go out of their way to help you. They would give authentic and trustworthy feedback about the surroundings. They're so great as human beings that you could very well pay less attention towards their gorgeous property, the hearty meals and three beautiful dogs during your stay. They are the absolute best hosts you could hope for.
