A special location surrounded by a beautiful forest and the babbling of a stream.As you step into the building, which is dominated by a modern, natural black, you are greeted by the overwhelming sense of openness created by the high ceilings and the high-quality interior. The biggest attraction is the completely private spa area located right next to the creek that runs through the property. With a view of dynamic natural rock skin and deep greenery, the "semi open-air bath", and an authentic "sauna and water bath", you can ultimately spend a moment in mind and body. The luxurious outdoor living room is equipped with a BBQ grill and bioethanol fireplace.Enjoy a sophisticated space for adults, where you can have a BBQ amidst the fresh greenery during the day and be soothed by the flickering flames and the sound of the stream at night. Kita-Karuizawa is easily accessible from Tokyo, yet it offers the richness of nature brought by Mt. Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, with a wealth of natural areas such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and marten, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy "living" in the space. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf during the green season, and as a base for winter sports during the snow season. It is a calm space with a traditional Japanese house motif.The living room features a large kotatsu-style horiguri fireplace, perfect for enjoying meals and drinks.There is also a counter bar with four seats. With Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Shiga Kogen, Madarao Kogen Ski Resort, and Togari Onsen Ski Resort nearby, it's the perfect base for winter sports.During the green season, there are eight golf courses within a 30-minute drive, including Madarao Country Club, which is a 5-minute drive away, as well as numerous day-use hot spring facilities.The owner lives on the right side after going up the front entrance and can be contacted at any time. He understands English at the level of everyday conversation.During the green season, you can harvest fresh vegetables from our own farm at any time, and you can also enjoy a barbecue in the gazebo in the garden.The garden is also spacious, so you can enjoy a short walk or the like.Iiyama's specialty product is the famous green asparagus, which can be enjoyed from May to July. There is also a roadside station nearby where you can enjoy fresh vegetables and delicious soba noodles.

58 square-meter one-room (hall) wooden warehouse structure - The bedding is futons There is a toilet in the accommodation (hall)　 There is no bath, but there is a hot water shower. There are several hot springs about 20 minutes away by car. - WiFi (network environment) available ・ No smoking inside the hall (inside the accommodation facility). There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. The accommodation fee is 6,500 yen (due to rising prices, the price will be raised) We do not accept last-minute reservations (please book at least 3 days in advance)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
