The Garden Retreat

The Garden Retreat is a self contained dwelling, at the end of our garden. In a quiet residential area of Dorchester, in the summer there may be some noise from the surrounding gardens. Access from the road, leads directly to the Garden Retreat. We are in easy walking distance (about 10 minutes) from the centre of Dorchester. here you will find Cafes, restaurants and shops Dorchester is an historic town, with many place of interest. No Visitors. No smoking or vaping, on the premises. No pets.

Super cosy and surrounded by nature! Only 10 minutes drive to the World Heritage Jurrasic coast, Dorset's famous beaches Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. We are so excited about our new conversion. Completely self-contained, it is a lovely, light, cosy open space with a well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and a cool sleeping platform/mezzanine. Piddlehinton is a special place, 20 mins from the Jurassic Coast and 10 mins from Dorchester, in the renowned Piddle Valley, with beautiful walks, views and our award winning pub, The Thimble Inn. We are right next door if you need anything, but if you prefer your privacy, you can be totally separate.

Troytown Farm Bespoke Shepherd's Hut

A bespoke shepherd's hut, made by a local craftsman residing on rolling pasture of a forgotten turf maze and meeting place lost in time. Welcome to the first Troytown shepherd's hut, completed in June 2023. Located on Dorset's famous Jurassic Coastline it is the perfect base for exploring sandy beaches, historic monuments and plentiful walks in nearby Puddletown Forest. Enjoy an off grid experience with views of ancient woodland and sheep grazed pasture.

The Condo (Indoor Pool available May- end Sept)

Self contained detached cottage in a tranquil location close to the famous 'Jurassic Coast' ; Durdle Door, Lulworth, Corfe Castle, Weymouth and Dorchester are all a short drive away. Further attractions close by are Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, and Sculpture by the lakes. There is a well stocked village shop and good village pub. Dorset has so much to offer, with beautiful coastline and breathtaking scenery. Relax in the pool at your leisure!

This newly decorated self contained 1 bedroom annexe has a fully equipped kitchen & in the county town of Dorchester, the birth place of Thomas Hardy. It is a perfect base to explore the beautiful countryside and Jurassic coast! The town’s amenities are only a short walk away including the new Brewery Square development.
