The back fence of the property leads directly into Kinkuna National Park for hiking, fishing or 4WD adventures. Kangaroos and joeys visit every day at dawn and dusk. We have lovingly created this space as an antidote for the busyness of everyday life. Let the kids run free all day, and fall asleep at night to waves gently crashing across the way.

Take time out to enjoy this truly family friendly destination. Woodgate Beach has 16km of beach and the Beach Houses are located directly opposite. Onsite there are two pools and BBQ areas. An added bonus is we are pet friendly to small animals with an additional pet hygiene fee payable. All the houses have linen and fully equipped kitchen. My place is close to the city, Bargara beaches, Rum Distillery, Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, the River Feast Markets, Mon Rops turtle rookery and the best seafood restaurant on the river, where you can dine in or take away and take a cruise to the Port. You’ll love my place because of the location, so close to everything and no noisy traffic, it is very quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. You really do need a car to get around. We do have Uber and Cabs.

The Cove Retreat- Pet Friendly Oceanfront Studio

This unique pet friendly property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve and their little dog Charlie live on site. This comfortable apartment on ground floor has great ocean views from the bedroom. Pets are very welcome we just ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates. All of the shared outdoor areas including the firepit, overlook the ocean.
