Apartment holiday rentals in Klaksvík

We had a wonderful time at Marion's. The apartment is beautiful and certainly one of the nicest Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. The view over Klaksvik is amazing, and the terrace is a great addition. The apartment is really well equipped and has everything you need. It was spotlessly clean and really spacious. I would recommend booking a stay at Marion to everyone. Thank you for having us! :)

This was my most expensive nights accomodation in the Faroes ( travelling solo) but it was brilliant and completely worth the extra. Kirsten went out of her way to be flexible with my stay/ help with ideas when plans changed/ sample some local food and drink and multiple other things. Reading the other reviews it looks like she tailors to all of her guests. She was the most kind , thoughtful and generous air b and b host I've ever had - AND she lives just upstairs, so it really is proper old school airb and b ( no Vert managing it!) Double bed and sofa VERY comfy. Shower and heated floors - epic. Parking on driveway. Beautiful view of mountain across the valley. Stay here if you can! You'll need a car - and easy to drive into town for kalsoy/ fish and chips etc!

The accommodation was excellent and we felt very comfortable during our stay. Everything was clean and well-equipped. We would definitely recommend it!

Very welcoming host who is quick to respond. The apartment is spacious and super cozy. A well-functioning kitchen with everything you need, as well as a lovely isolated and warm apartment for the cold days. In addition to the description, the apartment has a freezer, microwave and TV. We have been very happy to stay with Finngerð and would definitely recommend staying here during your stay in beautiful and amazing Faroe Islands :)

The apartment was as described: beautiful decor and cozy (especially the sofa overlooking the water). It is particularly beautiful that it is right on the water and you can enjoy the sunset.

It was the best location for a traveler on foot - the bus stop and ferry port are within a 5-minute walk, and all the cafes, restaurants, churches, and squares in Klaksvik village are near the accommodation. The further away from the center of the village, the more uphill it is, but this property is located in the center of the village, so there is no uphill road. I was worried that the car would be noisy, but it was soundproofed and there was little car traffic, so there was no problem. It's surprisingly warm for a radiator. The bathroom is warm and the hot water comes out in abundance. Normally, it takes a while for the water to heat up, but here, the water heats up immediately. I don't know. I've never felt cold in this house. The accommodation was really neat, and the kitchen was equipped with all kinds of tableware and cooking utensils. Personally, it was convenient because there were a lot of outlets here and there.

A lovely light modern flat overlooking the harbour with fantastic views. Everything was spotlessly clean and we had all that we needed and plenty of space for 2 people. Our only problem was getting the cooker to work as we’re not used to induction hobs. Marita came out immediately to help us and hopefully will have instructions for the next people to stay!

Runa and her husband are very lovely and friendly people. The check-in was super easy and the apartment was prepared to welcome us in a cozy atmosphere. Everything was perfectly clean, and the kitchen is very well equipped if you are interested in cooking on your own. Runa and her husband were always available if we needed something and they even invited us to spend an afternoon watching the boat race in Klaksvik :) We would come back and chose the apartment any time again for sure!

We had a great stay. Jogvan was helpful and our stay was really nice. Quiet place and beautiful surroundings.

Kristin’s place was great! We had everything we could possibly need and more. In addition, we were in walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was very nice, quite, and peaceful as well. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place. Very quiet and peaceful. Inside apartment everything you need : Tv with smart, kitchen, washing machine and dryer machine. All of that make you trip more comfortable if you come to visit Faroe Islands and still want to be close to ferry. Apartment was super clean. Eleina and her husband were nice and friendly. Highly recommending!

Amazing stay. We had a problem with our hot water and John came over and fixed it in 5 minutes. Beautiful apartment with a great view. Has laundry, ping pong, TV, etc…

Jóannes' place was great, located very conveniently near the ferry, a grocery store, and several restaurants.

Great location. You can easily walk downtown and to the boat to Kalsoy. The place was clean and roomy. Definitely would stay again.

Very nice,new, comfortable apartment on a main street in Klaksvík .Everything was immaculately clean. Despite being on a busy street, bedroom was very quiet. Did not hear any noise during night.Easy to walk to ferry, shops and restaurants. Jóannes was great about responding quickly to questions and taking care of things. I would return.

A fantastic place to stay with an even more fantastic host. Marita was the kindest host I've ever stayed with and gifted us with homemade rolls, along with butter and jam to go with it. She was the best to chat with and I learned so much about the Faroe Islands, with the help of Google Translate. Her insight of life was amazing and we had the best time. You'll want for nothing when it comes to the kitchen - there's flour, baking powder, sugar, oil, spices, etc. In my opinion, this spot would comfortably fit 4 adults and 1 kid. There is a washing and drying machine inside the bathroom, a kitchen, and a beautiful living room space with a TV and a stunning view of the ocean. Note that when the laundry is on that it can be quite loud, heard throughout the house. My only complaint is that I didn't stay longer. Torshavn is a great spot to base in to see everything!

Very spacious and lovely place! At the back of a petrol station thus easy to buy snacks and refill your car. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. It was very comfortable, quiet and well-equipped. The location is good too - the centre of Torshavn is so easy to access quickly by car, there is a good supermarket nearby and some good takeaway food places too. Hilary is a good host, taking care to provide a really good experience and to communicate well.

Great location, clean and comfortable.

The location is beautiful, facing the ocean with two access paths to the seaside. Two windows overlook the ocean from the dining room. Everything is very quiet and the activity upstairs is very modest and quite bearable, not annoying at all. The living room is a little dark, not oriented towards the view but very comfortable, with blankets and comfortable cushions. The bedding is excellent, and the bathroom is functional. the decoration is suitable and tasteful. The kitchen is very well equipped, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. Nancy helped us during the marathon so that we were not stuck by the roadblocks. Recommended without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay! Sunneva greeted us welcomingly with fresh homemade bread, jam, and coffee. She was always friendly, helpful, communicative, and overall, a wonderful host. We felt right at home in this Airbnb, and Sunneva's hospitality really stood out in comparison to other Airbnbs I stayed in. She even showed us where we could swim in the ocean! Highly recommend this place :)

Stayed at this house for several nights, and it was exactly as described. Holger and Sylvia provided many brochures and suggestions regarding things to do in the area, and we're very quick to respond to messages. The house is spacious and was very clean.
