We had the best time at this villa! Everything about it was just perfect. The space is beautifully designed, with such great taste in decor—it feels cozy, stylish, and really well thought-out. You can tell a lot of care went into the layout, because everything just flows and works so well, whether you’re chilling in the living room, cooking together in the kitchen, or lounging outside. The bathrooms were a real highlight too—modern, clean, and super comfortable, with great water pressure (which is always a bonus!). We especially loved how each room had its own vibe while still keeping that cohesive, laid-back luxury feel. Breakfasts were a dream—fresh, tasty, and the perfect way to start the day. Sitting out in the morning sun with coffee and good food was honestly one of our favorite moments each day. We came as a group of friends and had such a memorable stay. We stayed here for 2 days. The rooms are clean. The ambiance around the property is peaceful. Hosts are very humble and welcoming. They provided us extra fresh fruits for our baby. The food (breakfast and lunch/dinner) provided is local home cooked, freshly prepared and tasty. Do try the floating breakfast which is one of a kind experience in itself. Heartfelt gratitude to the Oding family for hosting us. Definitely recommended

Wayan and his wife are great. Always responds and swiftly. Is proactive where necessary. Admire his alertness without being intrusive. Kept everything in order without asking. So always, every moment tidy and clean. The stay was a hit for us as a family. Each family has its own cottage and a shared kitchen with a large dining table. Swimming pool nice a little cold because there was a lot of rain and it fell at night. Wayan is an excellent driver and a great dancer😉. If possible, we would like to come back. Best regards from all of us.

The place was exactly as pictured! beautiful and surrounded by alot of greenary! Ketut was incredibly nice. He brought us umbrellas to the entrance when we came out of our gojek as it was pouring rain late at night. His entire family qas very welcoming & breakfast was also delicious!

Unforgettable Birthday & Honeymoon Stay – Incredible Hospitality We stayed at this villa in Bali for my birthday and our honeymoon, and it was truly the most unforgettable experience. Dewa, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Anything my fiancé and I needed was taken care of with care and attention to detail. The on-site staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us a relaxing spa treatment right at the villa and even cooked a special homemade Balinese dinner for my birthday—it was such a thoughtful and memorable surprise. Dewa also arranged all of our tourist excursions, making it so easy to explore Bali without stress. Everything felt smooth, personal, and effortless. We are a family of 6 travelling with four children. This place was the perfect location for us about 20 steps to the beach. Wayan and his staff were so fantastic they could not have been more helpful. Hiring paddle boards, booking snorkeling trips which we did and saw a turtle and 3 Manta Ray...so amazing. The accommodation is traditional and does have the feeling of a homestay, for us this was perfect as we love engaging with our hosts and they were so lovely it was great. We hope to see Wayan and his family again in the future. Nusa Lembongan is an amazing island full of amazing people with loads to do. Highly recommended 👌

The villa is amazing! It's the one that won unanimous approval in my family (there were 5 of us, with my three grown children). It's huge and extremely well furnished. The beds are good, everything is impeccable. The staff is charming and pleasant. Always smiling. Nearby there is a beach and a warung (on the right as you exit) which offers really cheap menus, and which delivers to the villa. There are also SPAs right outside the villa. But what also makes the difference is the availability of the hosts. They were always available to inform me and reassure me. They did much more for us than any host on Airbnb. For example, we were returning from Gilli and they arranged the transfer to the villa, also at the end they arranged the transfer to the airport. The exchanges are very cordial, they are adorable. I already miss Bali, and if I come back I will probably rent this villa again. Thank you for everything

The view is as great as it looks in the photos. The hut is a bit rustic but that should be expected based on the price and description. The room was clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. the staff were always working hard and the property was well-maintained overall. Some of the concerns people had in the reviews were true, such as the doors not fitting very well in the frames but it's manageable. I would just recommend using the mosquito net at night because they can enter from the bathroom. we liked that this place was tucked away and quiet but it's definitely better to have a scooter while staying here because most places are a bit of a walk. Staff are very helpful if you want to book tours or taxis etc

Everything about this villa was just perfect. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like a dream—peaceful, private, and absolutely breathtaking. The views? Honestly, views to die for. All staffs were like family and we loved every minute of our stay in villa.

Most incredible villa in Bali! Wow what an amazing experience, from start to finish Anna was so fantastic with communication, all the staff at the villa are so lovely and Annisa is a fantastic host! Unfortunately my husband wasn’t feeling very well before we arrived at the villa and got worse during our stay, however the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! Organising a doctor to visit the villa! We also had the most incredible massage! The best we have had on our trip! We also had a private barong performance at the villa which took our breath away! Everything from start to finish is amazing, the food is fantastic and having your own private beach is just perfection! We can’t wait to return! Thank you for having us! X

John and the rest off the staff are incredible friendly and helpfull! They response very quickly. We rent a scooter by John. And booked Some transfers and activities. And again the staff was so friendly, it felt like home for us! Terri makasi for everything!!!

You are very fortunate to have your present staff in your employ. They were professional, polite and accommodating. Above all they were very personable, elevating our stay from an ordinary experience to a very memorable one. They made our stay a vacation to remember. Wow wow wow, the place was unimaginable and the pictures do it no justice!!!! Waking up every day was like a new magical experience, the views were just something you dream of!!!! My time I spent there was so beautiful and the staff were incredible and always so helpful and easy to contact! Yes there are monkeys but if you leave them alone same goes and at the end of the day that was there space before ours and it is truly part of the whole magical experience!! Paradise at its best!!! I will definitely be returning to kupu kupu in the future and highly recommended for people looking for the real Bali experience because kupu Kupu will certainly give you that!! Thank you so much to Peter all his staff and his amazing neighbours Ian and Julie!! Villa gilis comes with amazing staff. Extremely friendly. There is always someone to take care of you. The breakfast was free and amazing. They have a menu for dinner and very affordable. The villa itself if very beautiful as shown in pictures. There are some good restaurants nearby. We used their designated driver who spoke good English and very friendly. He showed us local attractions. I highly recommend this place. Though a bit expensive, it was worth every penny.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Samudera. So relaxing. Everywhere super clean. Hosts were so helpful with organising transport on the mainland as well as on the island. It was great to be met on arrival and shown where things are in the villa (a lot of light switches!). The location is great - really quiet but close to great restaurants and close to the beach for cocktails and dinner. My friend and I would love to come back again!

Cocoa Maya is the most beautiful villa. I cannot begin to say how wonderful our stay was. The team looking after us were so incredibly kind and the food was amazing. We had dinner every night! The villa is so loved and cared for. We had the most amazing time with our children and grandchildren. Thank you all for the happiest holiday.

We’re a family of five from Australia (kids aged 12, 14, and 17), and this was the perfect Bali holiday. The stunning villa is right on the beach in a peaceful, private location, with a beautiful pool, bedrooms looking out to the water and the beautiful islands, open-air bathrooms, and even snorkelling right out the front. It truly felt like staying at a 5-star resort. The staff, especially Made and Nyoman, were incredible, so warm, attentive, and thoughtful. They took care of our every need with such ease and kindness. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts each morning, daily massages, and appreciated the villa being cleaned and laundry done each day. The chef’s meals were delicious, and the seafood BBQ on the beach for my wife’s birthday, with so many thoughtful, personal touches, was unforgettable. Everything about our stay was relaxing and effortless. We felt completely cared for and are already dreaming of coming back. Highly, highly recommend.
