Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Knysna

We spent a wonderful 6 days at Knysna Lagoon Lodge. The views over the lagoon are breathtaking. The house is very comfortable and well laid out, with all the things you need to make your stay very pleasant. The location of the property is on the outskirts of town, and although it's close to the main N2 road through Knysna, it isn't too noisy. There's a lovely big garden for kids to play in safely. Security is excellent. We would happily stay there again.

Five friends stayed at this home comfortably as their are 5 separate bedrooms, three with ensuites. The lounge and dining areas are also spacious and light filled. Nicci was an amazing host communicating proactively re checkin but also during our stay suggesting activities and restaurants.

For golfers this is a fantastic location as there is easy access to a least five excellent courses. If you like a tranquil home with great views and security this is the place for you. Ideally situated on the Garden route it is a great place to base your explorations. Delarey is a very amenable and enthusiastic host who ensured that we had a great stay with all the home comforts and pizza oven! We are looking forward to returning next year.

First off, this house is FANTASTIC! Wow - what a stunning location, so much space, and beautiful home. Linda was also a great host, and very responsive before and during our stay. I had a few questions and she always responded promptly. There were a couple of minor annoyances when we arrived such as no wine glasses, empty gas tank and broken toaster. But this all got dealt with on the same day when we flagged it, which we appreciated. We had a fabulous week - how could you not at a place like that? - and would definitely recommend

Lovely comfortable home in a tranquil location with beautiful walks in the neighborhood. Large well appointed kitchen with two outdoor seating areas. Sian was helpful and always available. The complimentary filtered water, coffee beans, chocolate and wine were all much appreciated and made us feel right at home.

An excellent stay in a big home with plenty of space. Tatum was helpful and responsive to any issues. It suited us very well while we visited friends in the area. Knysna is a great location for a holiday or just relaxing. Lots of fabulous restaurants available. Leisure Island and Thesen island ( both very close by car) are lovely places to visit very easily.

We had a fantastic stay at Adrie and Neville’s place! The house is exactly as shown in the photos: spacious, private, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Adrie and Neville were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The pool and jacuzzi were absolutely fabulous, and we loved having access to Netflix and Disney+, plus the pool table, ping pong, and foosball, perfect for relaxing and having fun. We also really appreciated having our own space to unwind and enjoy some quiet time, we felt completely at ease and comfortable throughout the stay. There’s a great laundry area, and the neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. Just 4 minutes away, there’s a lovely restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The area felt super safe, and it’s ideal for couples, families, and even guests traveling with dogs. Highly recommended, we’d definitely love to come back!

This house was worth every penny, from the surroundings to the house itself, it met every expectation and more. The host is also extremely friendly so we were all happy about the experience. Highly recommended.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The area was peaceful and the place was stunning and neat. The amenities were great to use. The host’s company was great and was super helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

Beautiful property and loved our stay.

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Honeymoon castle. The view we woke up to every morning was the perfect way to start the day. It definitely felt like we rested with the sights of seals, lots of birds and we even saw otters the one day. Will absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to have a peaceful honeymoon or even just a vacation. We will definitely be back one day.

Our stay at Berdine's place was great. The accommodation was nicely decorated and well appointed. There was a great balcony overlooking the gardens which was very restful and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay, though it was short but we would recommend them.

what a beautiful house! We felt immediately welcome. House was sparkling clean and everything was present. Bottle of wine, fruit and a flower in the kitchen made us feel warm. Beautiful beaches for hiking and then cool off in the pool. We enjoyed it and would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay in this magnificent location. The house had everything we needed and the kayak was great given you are on the water. It allowed us to explore. Trish was a lovely, friendly, responsive host. I would definitely recommend her place and we hope to be back next year.

Our stay with Sonet was fantastic, our 5 border collies were accommodated due to the fenced garden in front. This was one of our main criteria. Thank you. The space was modern, well equipped and functional. Was great that the property had solar power backup should lead shedding have come our way. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and air fryer, microwave oven. Close to the beach although during our time there the walk way was under repair due to flood damage (municipal responsibility). Loved our stay and especially the peace and quiet and closeness to beach. Felt right at home. Great hosts will return

We loved our stay at Helga's cottage. Wonderful outdoor balcony to relax and watch and hear the birds in the garden. Right next to a big open park area which is perfect for the dogs and just a couple of minutes walk from The Bell restaurant. Close to Brenton on Sea and a 5 minute drive to Knysna Central. We love staying in Belvedere for the quietness and nature. Thank you Helga for welcoming us and our 3 dogs, we all had a wonderful holiday and hope to return soon.
