This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also a unique cultural experience. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room. This room can be divided into two though in summer it’s not advised due needing the A/C. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can shop for local foods and prepare it all in your own equipped kitchen.

Resort Villa AL MARE Sauna & Garden   ヴィンテージな家具とおしゃれな空間で非日常を満喫できる一棟貸しヴィラ。 植物に囲まれた広い庭には屋根付きウッドデッキとサウナ（無料）が完備、BBQも天候に左右されずに楽しむことができ、任天堂switchや全自動麻雀卓、電子ピアノもご用意しております。また、自転車（無料）が4台あり、島内散策を楽しむことができます。 約70㎡の広い庭はアカベなど多くの植物に囲まれ、BBQを楽しむことができます。BBQグリル（ガス式）は無料で貸出します。（使用時の家庭用ガスボンベはお客様自身でご用意ください。）なお清掃・片付けはお願いしております。 電気式サウナも無料でお楽しみいただけます。サウナは110度まで設定可能で、たっぷり汗を流せます。サウナのすぐ横には水風呂とシャワー（冷温水）があり、水風呂で身体を冷やした後はロッキングチェアーでゆったりと「ととのえる」時間をお過ごし下さい。なおサウナ使用時は水着を着用してください。 2階にはビンテージタイルの広いテラスがあり、目の前に広がる海を眺めながらのビールは最高です。

This house was designed mainly for foreigners.　

The owner lives outside the prefecture and uses it as a vacation home. We cherish the extraordinary space by decorating with paintings and furnishings that give you a taste of Japanese culture. I will welcome you as a valued guest who can come to my private home, so face-to-face check-in and common sense conversation and interaction are required. Wifi is available. A parking lot is also provided. Transportation is not convenient in the mountainous area, so please go out by car if possible.

Beautiful Traditional House - はなれ

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.

四万十川まで歩いて行ける 一棟貸の宿「gu」

The observatory where the view of Kuma is seen. There is naturalness at 10 minutes at the abundant place by car from the center of Kuma.(It's possible to welcome and send off.) Barbecue is possible outside while seeing the night view and a starry sky in the evening. (Meal and the ingredients will be customer's bringing in.) It's possible to use a kitchen. It's possible to look a wonderful sea of cloud to be lucky in the morning.

こんにちは。オーナーです。 ここぶ庵は日本最後の清流・四万十川の三里沈下橋から徒歩1分にあります。 春は鳥の声で春の訪れを感じ、夏は心地よい川風でうたた寝。秋は紅葉を見ながら川辺の散歩、冬は囲炉裏を囲んで思い出話。 四季折々の川や自然など、都会では味わうことのできない非日常空間を満喫してください。 ここぶ庵は、ヒノキ風呂・ツリーハウス・沈下橋を一望できる2階ベランダ・囲炉裏・屋根付きの外食事スペース・SUP、シーカヤックレンタル・アート作業台など満載の宿です。 ご宿泊はゆったりとお使い頂くために６名様を推奨しております。（最大10名様までお布団をご用意しますが狭くなります） 水道水は山水で飲料不可のため、ウォーターサーバーをご用意しております。 バイク旅行の方は大切な愛車を土間に停めて頂けます。 虫との共存や施設の不便さも、キャンプに来たような感覚でお過ごしいただけると幸いです。

Learn about the culture of Kochi in this owner-built guesthouse! Each room has been designed with a different theme in mind, so you are guaranteed to have an interesting stay! The guesthouse has two sites: a Japanese-style wing and a Western-style wing. This Japanese wing was opened in 2012 as the first guesthouse in Kochi. Japanese wing (whole annex) has 3 rooms.
