Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kokatahi

Die Unterkunft war für 2 Tage einfach perfekt. Das Haus war mehr als geräumig und bei Nacht und klaren Himmel einfach nur wunderschön. So viele Sterne wie schon lange nicht mehr gesehen. Die 2 Tage konnten wir für die Felsen, Höhlen und zum ausruhen nutzen. Clive war mehr als freundlich und hat auch immer schnellstens geantwortet. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, da es auch für 8 - 10 Leute funktioniert.

A lovely clean comfortable and well styled place with all the creatures comforts, we felt right at home. Clean linen and comfortable bed, the house was lovely and warm. Check in was easy and Claire and Sandy were very responsive. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Fish and chips watching the sunset was magical and the gorge is incredible. We loved our stay from start to finish.

We loved staying at Kate’s. Mingling with the other people camping/glamping in the communal areas was great. The house was perfect for our group.

Forest Lodge is the perfect get away for large groups. Huge kitchen, well equipped with anything you would need to feed an army. And great, cosy lounge. We were worried the bedrooms would be cold, but by following the instructions all went well and we were all toastie… no snow for us this time, but we look forward to coming back again next year! Such a beautiful place to stay on the coast. The house is lovely and had everything we needed to have a great stay. Hannah was great and so accomodating for our large group. We all loved the beautiful view of the native bush from the kitchen. This was our second stay and we very much enjoyed coming back with our friends. Thank you

Sarah is the kindest host and Marg’s Cottage was perfect for us as a base for two days. The fire was great and the Queen beds are super comfy.

An absolutely incredible place to stay. It was so peaceful, we loved the feel of the place and Kath was an amazing host. The attention to detail was amazing, everything was beautiful, we loved the fire and the candle-lit evenings. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

Lovely property, felt right at home straight away upon arrival, inside is spacious and comfortable with a great kitchen. Location is perfect too, walkable to everything located in Hokitika and only 5 minutes to the beach. Claire was a great host you can tell she really listens to her guests who stay and takes on board recommendations, she was a brilliant host and in turn has a brilliant property.

Great all round, excellent for kids with toys to entertain young ones added bonus of good sized back yard. Comfy rooms and really well appointed kitchen. Highly Recommend :)

Awesome place, great location

The property was amazing. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The spa overlooking the sea was fabulous, as was the room outside where we could sit and chill and watch the sea, but be warm and cozy. We walked into town for dinner. Wandered along the beach. The interior design was really cool. My husband especially lived the robots on the ceiling. We also enjoyed Hokitika, cafes were great. We went to the National Kiwi Centre which was AMAZING! And also did the zipline at the West Coast Treetop Hikoi and Tower Zipline. Thanks we had a great time. Highly recommend staying here.

The place is lovely and cosy with the fire on, spotlessly clean with lovely linen on the bed. Perfect for a rainy overnighter in Hokitika.

nice simple place full of young people that make you feel good

Claire's house was the perfect location to have my husband's family reunion. Right on the beach with the amazing views was such a bonus and exceeded my expectations of it. The house was warm, spacious, clean and beds super comfy. The big square table was just the right spot for our family gathering. Many hours were spent sitting around it yarning of times gone by and making new memories. Not to mention the cards games like the old days with grandparents. So much fun. We will all be back. We had a great stay at Sailors catch and Claire the host was great with communication and sent us a great place for lunch. The views of the beach and sunset were awesome and we will be back to stay in the future 👍
