Our stay at the A-Frame House was nothing short of a serene and unforgettable retreat, a perfect escape from the relentless hustle and bustle of city life. Although locating the prprty prsnted a minor chalnge initially owing to limited network coverage. Nestled in the heart of nature, the property offers an unparalleled sense of tranquility and seclusion. Salman, the host, was exemplary in his responsiveness and hospitality. From the moment we connected, he ensured a seamless experience by anticipating our needs and preparing all the essentials well in advance. A highlight of our stay was the cook's exceptional culinary skills, with every meal being fresh and flavorful. The vegetable stew with dosa for breakfast was especially memrble & cmes highly recom. While the experience was largely exceptional, the house features only one bathroom despite accommodating a large family, and the master bedroom lacked curtains or blinds, with one fan being non-functional.

The place is absolutely beautiful. There are so many elements in the property like multiple seating areas, ponds, barbecue place, that add to the experience. We stayed here with our 4 doggos and they had a lot of space to run and play around in the property. They had the best time! The help and her daughter who maintain the property are very sweet and ensured the rooms and kitchen were clean and they really did a great job. Regional breakfast like idli, appam and all was provided and it was good. They only speak Malyalam but we could still manage to understand some bits :D. The host is very proactive and responsive. She made sure we had everything that we needed. Will visit again ❤️

Stayed at The Spice Wood Resort and it was an amazing experience! The property is stunning, full of greenery and calm vibes — perfect for couples or anyone looking to relax. The ambience was so peaceful, and the rooms were just lovely. A big thanks to Mr. Pronoy for being such a great host — super friendly and made us feel right at home. I had an amazing stay at Nibana, thanks to our incredible hosts, Girish and Jawid. From the moment we arrived, they made sure everything was perfect. They took care of everything—from delicious meals to planning out the best places to visit in the area. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made us feel at home. Whether it was helping with local tips or going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable, they were always there with a smile. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a stress-free, memorable experience!

We have extended our stay so I’m writing another review :) Even though it was very rainy at the time we stayed we still got to travel around and enjoy the beauty of Sultan Bathery. First of all the city itself is very nice and probably the cleanest I’ve seen in India. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. It was easy to move around in buses to see different sites and also just to walk in this beautiful jungle was soothing for the soul. On our last day Muralidharan took us to the local tea plantation and factory and we got a special tour around and it was fascinating! To think you drink tea all your life and have no idea where it’s coming from and how it’s done.. finally we did! And got some premium green tea for a great price. I highly recommend to visit Sultan Bathery and its surrounding, maybe better time will be from September to April, before monsoon season. In general, wayanad is one of the less traveled places in Kerala and a real jam! Don’t miss staying in this house!
