In the summer, you can take a dip in the river in the backyard, there are duck trees to the shore from the cottage. 200m from Äkäsjoki, 15min drive away, one of the best salmon rivers in Europe, Tornio River. An escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life awaits you in our idyllic tupa-sauna on the shore of Muonionjoki. This is my own design, self built. The cozy and traditional log cabin offers a unique vacation in the lap of nature. There is no disturbing city lights or sounds. Enjoy complete silence Enjoy the gentle steams in the wooden sauna and a refreshing swim directly in the river. You can see the northern lights right from the terrace or in bed. In the fall even swim as they flare.

An atmospheric log cabin by the River Äkäsjoki. From the windows of the cottage, you can follow the flowing river, which is less than 20 meters away. You can go swimming after the sauna without worrying about the neighbors. This cabin accommodates 7 people at its best, but works best with less than six people. Downstairs there's a hallway, a kitchen-living room with a great fireplace, a sauna, a bathroom, a toilet, and a bedroom. There are two bedrooms upstairs, each overlooking nature.

Mökin saunassa saat nauttia perinteisen puulämmitteisen saunan löylyistä. Kaikki kylän palvelut ovat kävellen tavoitettavissa ja bussit lentokentälle tai juna-asemalle lähtevät parin sadan metrin päästä läheisen hotellin pihalta.
