We stayed at Hemashanthi Latha’s villa for two days, and from the very first moment, we were impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the aunt who took care of us. Initially, we were a bit confused about the location, but she kindly came all the way to the main road to pick us up. She welcomed us with tea and water bottles, which was a thoughtful gesture after our travel. The villa itself was even better than we expected—comfortable, clean, and truly gave us the feeling of being in a cozy, local Sri Lankan home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place, especially for couples looking for a peaceful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka.

I stayed for almost two weeks and had a great experience. The place was just as described, clean, and comfortable. The gated automatic door made it feel safe. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the shared kitchen was convenient. The host family was warm and welcoming, and flexible with check-in/out, which made the stay very pleasant. The area has lots of restaurants and easy access to the city center. The only small downside was that the bathroom is right outside the room, so privacy could be a concern for some, but overall, a great stay!

srilax is a very clean accommodation and a small oasis in Colombo, in the green shielded from the city's big city life. the rooms are very large and very nicely furnished. the staff extremely friendly. the food was very nice! Compared to other restaurants a little more expensive but due to the good product selection it was justified for us. we would go back to Sriilax.

I booked this as a last minute transit stay in Colombo and boy, did i get lucky! Kilani’s home is gorgeous and welcoming, her vibe extremely positive and forthcoming. She’s an excellent host and made my stay super comfortable. The room is better than it looks in the photos and the open air shower is phenomenal. The location is convenient and you can walk to restaurants, ATMs and grocery stores. Kilani offered some phenomenal recommendations that helped make me want to not leave Colombo. Can’t wait to visit again and stay here for a longer duration.

A really great place to stay. I have some allergies, so a kitchen was a must-- the kitchen here is wonderful. The room was comfortable and has AC. The shared living spaces are also gorgeous. Laundry was a breeze. I did some WFH, and was able to be very productive in the house. Siran's mom and Alex, who helps to run the house, were really lovely living companions--they were also very helpful with recommendations and showing me a bit around the neighborhood when I first arrived. They also included me in a few 'family-style' activities which was really fun. But they also gave me space when I wanted it, and were very respectful. Staying here really felt like being home. While not in the center of town, this is a plus for people looking to stay away from the bustle and tourist areas, and see a bit more of what the rest of Colombo is like. I think this would make a great place for anyone who is staying longer term, or who is working as they travel, or who has allergies and needs to cook.

Beautiful house, well maintained and very clean. Loved the locality as it was quiet and cozy. The host and the care taker were very helpful. Dr. Arjuna helped me regarding all possible information needed about sri lanka. Stayed there for 4 days and felt like our own home. The supermarket was within 200 meters. Highly recommended by me.
