Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kommetjie

I spent 22 so called "workation" winter days and nights at Chris' place, so my needs and expectations were most likely very different from those of a typical "summer-short-stay-tourist". For instance, I was very happy with the large desk which in combination with the kitchen table allowed me to set up two laptops with keyboards, mouse pads and an additional monitor. WiFi worked flawlessly too. Having a washing machine was another bonus. In Cape Town winters I personally prefer gas heaters like Chris' over oil radiators or electrical fans. Chris was ever so quick to replace an empty gas bottle. In general, communication with the hosts was easy and fast, they always responded within an hour. To sum it all up: I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Colettes place was exactly what we needed to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. There were so many toys my daughter could play with and very child friendly which I appreciate. The place was clean and very neat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

We really had a great time there. Especially for the kids was of course a paradise, there were a few toys, and the loft bed was great. Also of course the garden, which is visible from the kitchen. Especially for families, this place is highly recommended. In any case you need a car, but basically you can really do a lot in Noordhoek and surroundings without having to drive far. Nadine was always available, had great tips for us and we had a very nice stay

Sian was a fantastic host, very responsive to our queries during the stay. The house itself was just what we needed for us and our little ones. Our toddler had SO much fun at this house and didn’t want to leave.

The house was very nice and cozy. It had plenty of space for 6 of us. Great lactation, next to the beach. Has a great kitchen to make dinners.

A short but excellent stay in an amazing setting, with an incredible view, well appointed apartment and amazing host. Highly recommended if you are looking for a stay in the Noordhoek area, and want to enjoy the ease of access, tranquillity and feeling of being at home. Dylan is a responsive host but has made everything seamless, from check-in to daily access and check-out, and is also available to give helpful guidance on the surrounding areas and activities for the whole family. I had a fantastic three-day stay at Soughted! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-kept everything was. The space was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as pictured - if not better in person. It’s clear that the host takes great pride in maintaining a welcoming and tidy environment. This serene and spacious apartment is bright, sunny and with a spectacular view over the harbour of Kalk Bay and False Bay. We love Kalk Bay and its walkability, restaurants, boho boutiques, and nearby natural ocean tidal swimming pools. This apartment is the answer!

The accomodation was amazing and the view alone was to die for! Everything you could ever need was available and we were within a 10 minute drive from amazing restaurants. Cornelia was a lovely host and we were welcomed so warmly, would definitely be interested in visiting again. Again, that view!

I really really enjoyed my stay. It was extremely peaceful and the views were really refreshing and beautiful. The hosts were extra gracious and responded very fast. The mall around was also convenient to get food, drinks and supplies. I would definitely book it over and over again. 1000/10 I promise you.

Kristi was so friendly and so helpful! The place was incredibly clean and cosy. I felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel! It is an extremely peaceful location and I will definitely go back. P. S. The visits from her sweet dogs Pepper and Charlie just put the cherry on the cake!

I had a wonderful couple of nights out at Karens place while my son was at camp nearby. Beautiful, peaceful setting, good wifi to do a bit of work and lovely views. We'll be back!

Bruce's AirBnb was perfect! Super clean and close to many shops and restaurants. We received lots of recommendations from Bruce which were very helpful. It was super cozy and we LOVED the balcony where you can enjoy the views with your coffee or tea. I would recommend this AirBnb to anybody visiting Cape Town!

What a great spot with easy access to the beach or pools. In winter, you have the ever changing sea views but due to the recessed position less noise. It was a relaxing sanctuary after our work days and Liz was an attentive hostess, arranging an easier parking for our large car … For those who struggle with mobility there are steps to the well appointed unit.
