We renovated a small 150-year-old warehouse (former sake cellar) and turned it into a small inn for rent. Perfect for: * People who like Japanese houses. The vacation house is within walking distance of Komoro station, and there are attractive tourist destinations such as Komoro Castle Kaikoen, wineries, and trekking routes. It is a quiet, small, cozy guest house. The deck is spacious enough for about 6 people to have a barbecue, etc. Please note that it may feel a little cramped for 4 adults. Since it is a mountain forest, there are insects, but we carefully control insects in the guest house. Please understand if they enter during your stay. If you are not good with insects, etc., I think you will have a little resistance, so please book with that in mind. In winter, it gets below freezing around here. Please note that the heating facilities in this guest house are mainly kerosene stoves and kerosene fan heaters. We also have electric appliances, but if you use too much, the safety device will work (smart meter) and the electricity in the house will flash, so please do not use a lot of electric appliances at once. An earth leakage meter is also installed. A building from the development era, it has been stylishly renovated using plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, hinoki cypress, and plaster. We also focused on the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the winter, when it is completely covered in snow, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the snow-covered landscape. You can follow animal tracks on snowshoes and go on a snowy picnic, or enjoy a bonfire and BBQ in the riverside house in winter. There are also 7 ski resorts within a 30-minute drive. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
