It was the perfect spot for a get away. So homely with beautiful views of the surrounding terrain. The rain on the roof was a dream to fall asleep to and the sun coming through the stained glass window above the door felt as if we were waking up in a fairytale. It held the quintessence of what you’d hope for in a hunter valley escape 100% want to go back.

The group and I really enjoyed the stay, the host was very responsive and flexible with our needs and requests. We felt warm and welcome when we checked in, they even gave us a bottle of wine! We also enjoyed the game room and the kitchen facility. Highly recommended staying at this property next time you go to Hunter.

A beautiful house in a fantastic spot near Birubi beach and the Tomaree Coastal walk. The layout is great and the house is very stylish. The spa was awesome. Seem small at first but really deep and heats up within 2.5 hours. Plenty of space in the house for a family of 5. Walkable to Birubi beach (10 mins) which is patrolled with a cafe and is great for boogie boarding. Join the coastal walk only 1 min walk away, bring hiking boots as can be a bit muddy/rocky.

This is a lovely retreat which makes you feel on top of the world - with incredible views north over the Port Stephens peninsula. At night the stars are incredible. The house itself is modern, clean and fresh with everything you'd need - and the beds are very comfortable. The communal spa and pool is beautiful - and the water temperature was perfect. The whole place feels like a mini private resort. Jane was very communicative with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again.

Ziona’s beautiful home was perfect for my little birthday trip with friends. The house was stunning and had mostly everything we needed for our stay! The front door is a bit temperamental but once knowing how it works/ how to do it there is no issues!! Very quite neighbourhood and is perfect for morning or afternoon walks/ runs with the beach also very close. Ziona was extremely helpful throughout our stay with recommendations in regards to food and drinks, aswell as small things we may needed help with: heating the pool, front door, fuze box And was very responsive. Overall our stay was beautiful and would definitely book with her again.

A great property to base yourself while in Shoal Bay. 10 minute walks into Shaol Bay, or to the beaches. To have Wreck beach 10 minute walk from your door is fantastic. Beds are extremely comfortable and the house was perfect for what we wanted. If we do get the opportunity to visit Shoal Bay again, we defiantly hope to stay here again.

For anyone looking to explore Hunter Valley Wine Country I could not recommend this enough! Had absolutely everything we needed for the best long weekend away. The place was spotless and so well stocked, with the loveliest welcome gift. Tamara was so responsive and helpful, I can’t wait to recommend it to all my friends (and come back!)

Adrian and Fiona's Home in Belmont, is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is also very spacious and perfect for a couple that needs a place to stay near Lake Macquarie and Belmont. There is a beautiful nature all around you if you have time to explore. The driveway to the airbnb is tight and there is no room to turn around at the end so reversing out is required. We had a large car so that was a bit tricky, especially as we were asked to stay on the driveway not the grass. Apart from that I would certainly recommend staying here and would stay again.

The house was spotless clean and very well equipped with all the amenities needed. The location is great too, just a very short walk to the nearby bus stops.

We had a great stay at Mon’s place. It’s conveniently located and easy to fine, and was great for our son with toys for him to play with and a swing set in garden! Would highly recommend.

Great place we had 6 people and it was perfect. Great kitchen laundry facilities. Comfortable beds. Very clean and well organised. We were very comfortable. Amy was great to deal with and a fantastic host

We absolutely loved our fabulous stay at the Cosy Urban Retreat! The home is beautiful and has everything you can imagine and more. Dealing with Louise was a delight. This beautiful home is in a great location, very cosy, stunning decor, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning/heating and the relaxing tranquil outdoor area is perfect. Jason was an incredibly hospitable and communicative host, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming from start to finish. The house itself was spotless—clean, tidy, and well-presented—with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the basic essentials, which was a lovely touch and made settling in so easy. The space struck the perfect balance between cosy and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out whether you’re a family or a group of friends looking for a relaxing weekend away. It was the ideal base for our trip, and I’ll definitely be returning!

We stayed here as a group for a school performance event at the Entertainment Centre. The house was perfect for our needs -- the kids loved it and the location removed all stress about drop-off and parking. We really enjoyed both the local area (e.g. nice park + playground just a few minutes walk away) and going into Newcastle centre. Teighan was very accommodating and responsive throughout and it was a nice surprise that a proportion of the Vida profit is passed on to Habitat for Humanity. Our only regret was not staying another night!

Would highly recommend this Airbnb. The location is ideal for exploring Newcastle with lovely restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Sonia’s House is in a quiet community with beautiful views. Wake up with birds as your Alarm Clock. A Gorgeous Kitchen with all the utensils you need to feed the family. A chemical free non toxic environment, is very much appreciated. Thank you ☺️

Wow! I have a lot to say about this bnb experience.. First and most importantly, Sarah is such a wonderful host - she allowed us to have an extremely flexible check-in and check-out. She went above and beyond and her hospitality was honestly spectacular. She was so flexible when we requested to stay longer and even gave us discounted rates. We were shocked at the incredible value her bnb was. It was like walking into a friend's home; such a well stocked kitchen, 10/10 beds, amazing bathroom and shower, beautifully decorated home and all the homely touches that make being away from home extra special. I cannot recommend Sarah's place enough. It exceeded our expectations and Sarah is honestly the perfect host.

Such a unique house. Plenty of space, walking distance to the ferry into Newcastle CBD and the beach. Host was flexible with earlier check in and later check out but I guess that depends on bookings before and after.

We really enjoyed staying here, it felt like a home away from home. It had every little thing that makes a place feel like a home instead of a hotel like accomodation. The kitchen was very well stocked. The kids also loved having toys and the baby equipment was very handy. The location is great, walkable to restaurant, beach, museum, etc. The hosts were very communicative and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved the house. The layout was perfect. Bedrooms not close together, 2 bathrooms, everything elese in between. The views are stunning. Love having cows, horses and sheep roaming close. Loved it.

Best hosts we have had to be honest . Perfect family location, foot paths, flat streets and new park next to it. The place was great value, nothing wrong and functional for families. Top service and we are returning customers. Dave
