Cozy cabin with SAUNA (bathhouse) 6 km north of Lyngseidet city center. The cabin is a total of 49 sqm and is suitable for 3-4 adults or a small family. The cabin contains: living room, toilet/shower, kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Storage room: inside the storage room there is a washing machine - Large porch with barbecue facilities overlooking Lyngenfjorden. (wood or charcoal is not included in the price) - The cabin should be left in order and tidy. - Used bed linen and towels MUST be removed and placed in the laundry basket.

Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Hiking trail to the mountain starts right outside. Fantastic view over Tromsø and the mountains. Direct bus from the airport and the city center, 800 meters to the grocery, pizzeria, shopping center and restaurants. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper and oil are available. Access to washing machine by arrangement.

The cabin has a nice location right down by the Lyngenfjord. The panoramic view can be enjoyed from the living room window. Here you can enjoy the silence, and the place is perfect for those who love to go on top hikes. The cabin is spacious and modern and has everything needed for a cozy stay. The cabin has been renovated with a new bathroom, kitchen, living room and 3 bedrooms on the second floor. There is bed space for 6 people. There is a shoe dryer and drying cabinet in the outdoor shed.

The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Turløyper rett utenfor døra. Leiligheten er i vertens bolig, og befinner seg på 1. etasje. Verten bor selv i øveretasjen. Skiers and hikers! Området er en bra lokasjon for å se nordlys og arktiske dyr. Her kan du fiske i fjorden som er islagt 6 måneder i året, gå fjellturer i nærområdet eller kjøre inn til Tromsø som tar ca. 30 min. Jeg har gratis utlån av barneseng, truger/ snøsko, sleder, akebrett, fiske og isfiskeutsyr. Kan også leie ut badstue, ski og snowboard på forespørsel :-)

Likevel er det et unikt landskap slik at man også finner terreng for lettere skiturer. Om sommeren er uendelige turer å velge i, både til fots, til sykkel eller med båt. Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
