Flower Farm Cottage A peaceful place to slow down

AmrRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We really enjoyed staying at Tiffany’s cottage. The cottage is extremely clean and tidy, decorated with beautiful flowers freshly picked from Tiffany’s flower farm, with the serene view of the farm from the deck. It rained half of the time during our stay there but the cottage stayed cozy and warm. The location is close to Nee Plymouth city and a few minutes drive away from the local beaches. It’s also very close to Pukeiti and Mangorei Track Trailhead going up Taranaki. Tiffany is very friendly and responsive, helping us finding the cool local spots and organic groceries and making sure our stay was comfortable. We had a great holiday experience despite the weather and we look forward to come back again in the future 🌼🌸

Plymouth Escape

SallyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We spent 6 nights at Anna's and absolutely loved it! Coming home each day to such peaceful and quiet surroundings with bush and farmland all around was bliss and the 20 minute drive from New Plymouth was not onerous at all - fast roads and lovely scenery. We had plenty of room to spread out with a huge main bedroom and nice deck area with seating. Both the main bed and the living room divan bed were extremely comfortable. Anna was super friendly and very responsive - when we asked for another cooking pot she appeared immediately with one. Make sure you are comfortable cooking without a microwave.

Pouakai Cabins - Bush Retreat

BlancaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We can’t say enough about how peaceful, serene, and beautiful this cabin is. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by nature’s calm—the sounds, the views, and the overall stillness make this the perfect getaway. The location couldn’t be better: private enough to feel secluded, yet close enough to explore nearby attractions if you choose to venture out. What truly stood out was the attention to eco-friendly details. It’s clear that sustainability was thoughtfully considered in every aspect, which made our stay feel even more meaningful. The cabin’s commitment to the environment added a special layer of appreciation to the experience. The interior is just as inspiring, filled with beautiful, unique artwork that reflects a deep respect for both culture and history. Every piece tells a story and adds to the authentic charm of the space. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here. It was more than just a place to rest—it was a place to reset. We’ll definitely be back.

Bamboo Sanctuary Tiny Home

BellaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great stay! The host was super friendly and quick to reply. The place was clean, cozy, and just like the photos. It’s a bit out of town, but that’s what made it perfect for a quiet escape away from people. Would totally recommend if you’re after a chill, peaceful break! ☺️

Tranquil off grid escape!

ZoeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A slice of wild paradise! Our stay at Alan and Freya’s sanctuary was unforgettable. The place is beyond beautiful, tucked into nature, full of charm, and radiating peace. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at ease. The animals were an absolute highlight: two adorable alpacas, friendly pigs, playful goats (yes, we got to play with them!), chickens wandering around, it truly felt like a gentle farm haven. The cabin itself is stunning. The bed is super comfy, the indoor fireplace kept us cozy, and the shower with a view of the forest felt like something out of a dream. At night, we soaked in the hot tub under the stars, no connection, no TV, just stillness and nature. Absolute bliss. They even thought of the little things: a selection of games (we LOVED Banana Grams and Monopoly), thoughtful touches, and such kind, genuine hosts. Alan and Freya are beautiful souls, warm, welcoming, and inspiring with the way they’ve created this sanctuary. We had the best time
