Holiday houses in Kothreas

Great little find steps away from the centre of town in one direction and a small beach in the other. Had everything you would need from bathroom toiletries to beach towels. Large tv in lounge and bedroom. Very helpful and responsive communication from Regina and Mary with local restaurant suggestions.

This place was bliss. We spent two weeks here and could have stayed much, much longer. The house is just spectacular - it's a beautiful old structure with exposed stone walls, and full of charms to admire. The bookcases are full of treasures too, we both read a lot of books from Georgios and Yolante's selections, as well as taking advantage of the home cinema - such a treat in the evenings! We had the most stunning sunsets in the evening looking out over the sea. Local amenities were perfect - you're close enough to everything, but tucked away so you feel secluded. Yolante was always on hand to help and offer amazing recommendations around the island. Kefalonia is a special place, but it was made much more so by our stay here - and the lovely dog Zuzu. Already left but counting the days till I come back...the villa is extremely beautiful. Nicely decorated, very cosy with magnificent view over Myrtos Bay. The kitchen is fully equipped, two spacious bedrooms, living with smart TV. one big terrace facing the bay and another one at the entrance. 10 minutes walking you have tavernas and supermarket. 3 km you will get to amazing Myrtos Beach. The area is very peaceful and authentic. The owner is the most friendly person I ever met. Very helpful, continously checking us if we are OK or needing something. He even decorated the house with a Christmas tree for us (we were during NYE). Long story short, I recommend Angelos and Cyanic Horizon.

Η διαμονή μας σε αυτή την παραδοσιακή βίλα στην Κεφαλονιά ήταν μαγευτική! Η βίλα βρίσκεται σε ένα γραφικό χωριό που σε κερδίζει με την αυθεντική του γοητεία. Το σπίτι ξεπέρασε κατά πολύ τις προσδοκίες μας—ήταν ακόμα πιο όμορφο από ό,τι δείχνουν οι φωτογραφίες. Η βεράντα ήταν το αγαπημένο μας μέρος, με υπέροχη θέα, ιδανική για χαλάρωση και απολαυστικά πρωινά. Η Ελεάννα από την πρώτη στιγμή ήταν πολύ φιλική και έκανε ό,τι περνούσε από το χέρι της για να νιώσουμε άνετα. Μας παρείχε χρήσιμες πληροφορίες για την περιοχή, προτείνοντάς μας όμορφα μέρη να επισκεφτούμε και τοπικά εστιατόρια που αξίζει να δοκιμάσουμε. Επιπλέον, ήταν πάντα διαθέσιμη για να μας βοηθήσει με οποιαδήποτε λεπτομέρεια της διαμονής μας. Η φροντίδα της έκανε τη διαμονή μας ακόμα πιο όμορφη! Σίγουρα θα αναπολούμε αυτή την εμπειρία όλο το χειμώνα και ελπίζω πολύ σύντομα να επιστρέψουμε!

The house is amazing, well presented and clean, the space is lovely. It is a 2 minute walk to Assos beach and amenities. The bed is very comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with basics, herbs and oils. The air-conditioning throughout was excellent and the washing machine was an added bonus. The only downside that we experienced was given the time of year that we visited (early August) Assos was very busy with visiting tourists and the property is on the main road into town from the carpark. We therefore experienced quite a lot of foot traffic past the property as the main road leads past the front door and terrace, though after 5pm this traffic subsided significantly. All in all, a beautiful property and perfect for either a couple or family looking to stay in the area.

an amazing place to stay has everything and is central to the island so you can visit every part of the island easily and the owners are amazing definitely go there again ps the pool is salt water which I love

Dear Urania, Many thanks for the stay in your lovely house. We enjoyed it and my elderly parents appreciated the peacefulness of the place and listening to the night birds in the evening reminding them of their village. We appreciated being in a wonderful scenery on the mountain side off the beaten track, but close to services (5 mins away by car) and centrally located for access to the areas of interest from myrtos to the south to the various beaches (accessible by walking a bit after parking the car) and fiskardo with a couple of marked hikes in the north. We thoroughly enjoying sitting in the beatifull large terrace in the evenings enjoying the breeze flowing down the hill side that kept the house cool in the evenings and the night even throughout the heat wave. The house is thoroughly suited to families (we were 7) and is highly recommended. All the best, Yiannis
