Atmospheric cottage with sauna - a wonderful getaway

Come visit us in the countryside, in a small village. This well-equipped cabin and sauna offer a getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. During the summer, there is a wonderful village atmosphere all around – Restaurant Wonkamies and the harbor café are right next door. This fully renovated log cabin combines a traditional cabin feel with modern amenities. A large hot tub is also available as an additional service. Just a short drive away are Himos Ski Resort, Isojärvi National Park, and the Serlachius Museums—all within 30–65 km (18–40 miles). Only 28 minutes for Himos.

Holiday apartment on the shore of Lake Päijänne

You can enjoy the sounds of nature while staying on the large terraces of this unique home on the beach, where the sun shines all day from morning to night. The holiday apartment is located on the shore of a clear and drinkable clean Päijänne. You have access to all the amenities of our summer cottages, from air conditioning to a sauna. There is the option to heat a large hot tub on-site for an additional fee of €50. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, or otherwise just staying on the lake with a rowing boat, a canoe is also available.

The Riihiranta's cottage

A log cabin made from a drying barn from 1915. A romantic place on a hill. The living room has a double bed (160x200) and a sofa bed for two. It is also possible to accommodate guests in the summer room in a bunk bed. Private beach with a sauna cabin and a dock. Water comes from the lake via a pump to both the sauna and the sink area next to the drying shed. If you want to experience the peace and quiet of the forest, this cottage is for you. Please note that you can only access the lake for swimming from the dock.

A warm and cozy cottage in Himokas

Come unwind in a peaceful and cozy cabin with family, friends, or even a small work team. The cabin is in a quiet location, but still close to the activities and hustle and bustle of Himoksa. The nearest downhill ski slopes are about 3 km away, and the ski resort is about 6 km away. On weekends, you can visit Himos Arena to listen to artists and enjoy the great atmosphere. In the summer, there is a swimming spot about 300 meters away, so it’s easy to go for a morning swim. There’s plenty to do all year round!

Come and experience the authentic rural idyll on the shores of Lake Päijänne in Sysmä! This unique old house has a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. It's easy to relax here with a larger group. The house has sleeping accommodations for up to 9 people. You have a kitchen for cooking, a spacious living room and three bedrooms. Plus, you'll have a large yard at your disposal. The traditional wood-fired sauna offers relaxing steam, and after the sauna you can dive straight into the clear waters of Lake Päijänne.

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.

You can experience the lake Pitkävesi by swimming or by our rowing boat, canoe, kayak or sup board. During the winter you can dip into the ice hole or walk on the snow with the snowshoes. You can also enjoy the treasures of the pure nature by fishing or picking berries and mushrooms. A grilling place with a gas grill and electric smoker included.

The cottage is on the lower part of the property by a private beach. You can relax by the fireplace, go to sauna or go swimming into the lake. There is a central heating and an additional fireplace, indoor toilet, shower and sauna. Drinking water from tap. During summer you can relax on hammock or by the outdoor fireplace. Bathing/hot tub available.

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
